The Medium Launches, Devs Ask for Feedback

Over a year after the launch of their previous work, Blair Witch, Krakow-based studio Bloober Team is releasing another horror game. The Medium, as the game is called, will officially become available on PC and Xbox Series X/S today between 8 and 9 AM PT.

It's worth noting that the next gam from the creators of Layers of Fear and Blair Witch can still be pre-ordered on Steam and Microsoft Store for $44.99. The game is also included in the Xbox Game Pass service library on both PC and Xbox Series X/S.

Will The Medium appeal to gamers?

The Medium was not to the liking of all critics. Reviewers were divided by such elements as level of puzzles, the quality of music, narration, elements of horror, and even historical conformity. Which side of the argument is right? In a few hours everyone will be able to form their own opinion on the subject, and then share it, for example, in Microsoft Store. The creators themselves strongly encourage this. They even put a special message, which is displayed at the very end of the credits. Here it is in English (via VGC):

Finally, we invite you to familiarize yourself with the game's official system requirements. While reading them, keep in mind that the game has some optimization problems and GeForce RTX 3080 doesn't provide 60 fps even in Full HD on high settings and with ray tracing disabled.
