Next Call of Duty to Be Called Modern Warfare - Reboot of the Series
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is, according to rumors, the title of this year's edition of the series of popular shooters published by Activision. The production is to be a kind of a restart of the cycle, returning to the formula known from the game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, released in 2007.
For several years now, Activision has offered the players a new installment of the Call of Duty series every year. Various developer studios are working on the next parts of the cycle. At the beginning of May we informed that this year's Call of Duty should be presented for the first time to fans in June. According to still unconfirmed information provided by youtuber LongSensation, the game from Infinity Ward's study will be entitled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. What is more, it is to be a kind of a reboot of the cycle, returning to the formula known from the 2007 game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which so far has been considered by many as the best installment of Call of Duty.
The information seems to be confirmed by reports from a former Infinity Ward employee who suggested that we should soon hear about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. According to subsequent rumors, the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been shown for some time now behind closed doors to selected industry media representatives, as well as well-known streamers and youtubers. Rumors also indicate that the story campaign is to return to a realistic and sometimes controversial portrait of contemporary armed conflicts. The truth about these reports will be known soon.
