The Outer Worlds - 20 Minutes of Gameplay

During their PAX East 2019 panel, the devs from Obisidan Entertainment presented 20 minutes of gameplay from their upcoming RPG The Outer Worlds.

The ongoing PAX East in Boston has traditionally attracted hundreds of developers from all over the world. In addition to the numerous indie producers, larger and more well-known studios have also appeared. One of them was Obsidian Entertainment, whose representatives presented twenty minutes of gameplay from the their upcoming action RPG The Outer Worlds with a commentary; the game was announced in December last year. The video presents all the most important elements of the game, but it focuses largely on the dialogue system, offering numerous problem-solving possibilities, which depend equally on the chosen style of play as well as the stats of the main character. Fans can also see the equipment screen, shootouts and some unconventional weapons invented by the developers. Unfortunately, the shown demo did not have voice dubbing, which is still being prepared. We did not hear, for example, the conversations of two NPCs accompanying the protagonist.

Let's remind that The Outer Worlds will be released this year simultaneously on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as PCs. Thanks to the developers' decision, in the case of the PC version we will buy the game for the first year only in the Epic Games Store. The exclusivity agreement with the owners of the platform, which was announced more than a week ago, has caused and continues to cause considerable controversy among fans.
