Another Small Patch for The Witcher 3 PC Goes Live

CD Projekt Red has announced the release of another small update for The Witcher 3 on PC. And this time the hotfix is aimed at improving stability.

It's only been a few days since the release of the last little update for The Witcher 3 on PC, and CD Projekt Red is serving us another one.

The developers announced on Twitter, that this time the hotfix is also supposed to be mainly about general improvements to the game's stability. However, these are not the only changes that the patch implements.

In addition to the aforementioned aspect, the update is expected to provide fixes for the photo mode; this is especially important information for those who decided to participate in the recently announced Witcher photo competition.

In addition, the hotfix introduces to The Witcher 3 fixes to the Arabic language version, deals with a bug through which "the maximum toxicity level was maintained" in Geralt's body as a result of drinking potions, and stabilizes the game's performance on Steam Deck.

At the same time, the developers assure that they are working on updates for the other console versions of the game as well. More patches are expected to appear as early as next year.

While regular small patches on PC are most appreciated, it seems that the developer still hasn't solved the performance problems that bother players the most, especially in ray tracing mode (we wrote about it, e.g. here).

Nevertheless, even despite the imperfections The Witcher 3 performs really well in terms of popularity. At the time of writing this text, more than 56,000 users of Steam are playing on the Continent.
