How to get Original Sin in PoE; Item explained

A new Original Sin item has arrived in PoE. We'll tell you about it and how to get it.

Path of Exile is a game with lasting popularity. This is largely thanks to regular updates that keep players from getting bored. Quite recently, The Forbidden Sanctum was added to the game, introducing a new League. Players also have the chance to acquire, powerful items. One of these is Original Sin. In this article we will tell you what it is and how to get it.

PoE – Original Sin general information

The Original Sin is the Amethyst Ring. It requires level 52, and it will give you +19% to Chaos Resistance. Additionally, all your elemental damage will be converted to chaos damage and nearby enemies’ chaos resistance will be 0.

However, getting it is not that easy - it is a trophy for the best players.

PoE – How to get Original Sin

Getting Original Sin is very difficult. This item is the reward for completing a Sanctum run without getting hit. You must kill the Herald of the Scourge.

You can attempt this feat if you own The Original Scripture Papyrus Relic. This is one of the items added as part of a Sanctum. You have to find it there. At the start of a Sanctum place it on the Relic Altar. This will allow you to start a no-hit run. However, it is worth noting that the item is a one-time use - no matter if you manage to complete the run or not, it will always be destroyed when the Sanctum ends. So prepare a few of them.
