The giants of Elden Ring: Nightreing hide a few secrets, yet they are not mentioned once in the game.
FromSoftware games always contain a ton of mysteries to unravel, and it's no different with Elden Ring: Nightreign. Zullie the Witch, well-known among the data mining community, decided to take a closer look at the enigmatic, gigantic figures that appear in the distance on the second day of a player's run. One of their features turned out to be particularly impressive.
Giants appear during every expedition - initially as misty silhouettes, which over time reveal their true form, resembling a strange mixture of a skeleton and a tree. Zullie the Witch obtained their full model and examined the details more closely.
Inside their bodies, you can see a luminous tree that brings to mind the nervous system. Despite the lack of a skull, you can spot a toothed jaw, which adds some human features to them. Interestingly, they even have a fully modeled lower part of the body, even though it is never visible in the game.
Thanks to this, it is easy to measure their height, which is undoubtedly impressive. According to calculations by Zullie the Witch, the giants measure up to 3450 meters, which is around 11320 feet. It significantly overshadows all other creatures that have appeared in the Soulsborne games over the years. They are closer in size to the Erdtree located in the center of the Lands Between in the original Elden Ring.

However, if we also consider other FromSoftware series, the giants will only be in third place. Armored Core 6 has two larger units - RLA Strider and the satellite visible in the opening scene.
Back to Nightreign - even though the giants seem to be very interesting creatures, they were not mentioned even once in the texts or dialogues in the game itself. This makes their nature even more mysterious. However, it is worth mentioning that the final scene of the game suggests that they may be significant for the entire plot. The players seem to be accustomed to such situations.
Creating the largest creature in any FromSoftware game, even considering the environmental ones, giving it an incredible, unearthly appearance, and then completely ignoring its existence, is the most "FromSoft" thing they could do.
Elden Ring: Nightreign is available on PC, PS4, PS5, XOne and XSX/S. Despite initial complaints from players, the game can now boast an 82% positive reviews on Steam. It is also a significant success for FromSoftware - over 3.5 million people played it just 5 days after its premiere.
