Ubisoft Registers Prince of Persia 6 Website
There is a chance that the Prince of Persia series will return after a 10-year break. Ubisoft has registered a new website - princeofpersia6.com - which may suggest that work on the next installment of the series is in progress.
As we found out in February, the Prince of Persia series will return as a virtual escape room. But there is a chance that the series will also be back for ordinary players. Today, a new website - princeofpersia6.com - has been registered. As it has been determined (via Reddit), the website is located on servers belonging to Ubisoft, the current owner of the IP. At the moment the website has no content and does not redirect to any other place.
It is worth remembering, that at the beginning of this year there was an alleged leak on Reddit suggesting that the sixth installment of the Prince of Persia series is subtitled Dark Babylon. The game was supposed to be officially announced in February and hit the market in 2021.
The latest main installment of the series - Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands - appeared on the market 10 years ago. This title is at the same time the fifth major installment (not counting side games), since Ubisoft acquired the IP.
