The beginning of a new year is the perfect opportunity to make some changes in your life. Ubisoft though the same and announced, that as of January 25, 2024, it will stop offering network features in ten more titles. The move can be explained by the fact that the games are old releases.

"Last year we published an article on the withdrawal of online services for some older games. Today we have prepared an update, because on January 25, 2024, we will disable some additional online services on several platforms.

Withdrawing these features for older games was not an easy decision, but it is a necessity, as the technology that powered these services is now obsolete," the announcement reads.

The list of games and platforms that will be affected by Ubisoft's latest decision is as follows:

  1. Assassin's Creed II - Xbox 360
  2. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - MAC
  3. Assassin's Creed Liberation HD - PlayStation 3, Xbox 360
  4. Assassin's Creed Revelations - PC
  5. Ghost Recon Future Soldier - PC
  6. Might & Magic: Heroes VI - PC
  7. NCIS - PC
  8. R.U.S.E. - PC
  9. Splinter Cell: Conviction - Xbox 360
  10. Trials Evolution - PC

Disabling network services for the above games involves not only the inability to play online, but also to use your Ubisoft account and the Ubisoft Connect feature.. The games will still be playable, but only offline.

Last September, Ubisoft also shut down the servers of more than a dozen titles (some games are repeated in the current list, albeit in versions for other hardware platforms). Read more about it at this here.
