Wartales is Doing Great And Just Got Major Update

Wartales is an interesting game from the independent studio Shiro Games, which combines elements of strategy and RPG. It debuted in early access at the beginning of December last year and quickly gained a group of fans.. The community slowly grew and as the creators boasted, after a little over two months over 100 thousand people decided to travel to the dark world modeled on the Middle Ages and take control over their own team of mercenaries (via Blue's News).

Community Update #2

At the same time happy news broke, Shiro Games released another update for the game, called Community Update #2. It adds quite a few interesting things. Their introduction was largely influenced by comments coming from players.

1. The first thing included in Community Update #2 is the option to disable world level scaling. After selecting it at the beginning of the game, enemies on the world map will have a fixed level, without depending on the progress of players. The rule is simple - the further away from the settlement, the tougher enemies can be found.
2. Another new feature are training centers. It's a building added in every region, enabling us to optimize and reset the character's skill trees.
3. Next, we have an improved journal. It now enables us to conveniently track all active tasks along with short descriptions of each stage. This is to prevent the feeling of getting lost.
4. The developers have also made improvements in such elements as sorting equipment, the amount of experience, combat (including ambushes, which have become more realistic), economy and scenarios.
5. The team also did not forget about eliminating a number of bugs associated with the operation of certain abilities or the battles crashing after the death of a unit due to multiple hits.
