You can play World War 3 for free for a limited time. The developers are testing the server load in preparation for the launch of open beta stage.
Public load tests are underway in World War 3, the online shooter from The Farm 51. As a result, players were given free access to the usually closed beta of the game. You can take part in the tests from yesterday. They will last until February 7.
In the tab of events related to World War 3, the developers have posted a short entry. We read in it that taking part in the tests is not difficult. To join the game, you need to:
The devs also offer a gift as a thank you for participating in public load tests. All players who log into the game during this time will receive a special helmet.
Free access to the game is limited in time, but this does not mean that only the chosen ones will be able to play World War 3 after the end of open testing.
On the game's Steam page you can find the Closed Beta Pack, which enables those interested to continue the game. The current cost of joining the closed test is around $14.
If, due to the many releases that February will bring, you do not plan another expense, then you might as well wait until the game switches to F2P. According to the developers, this will happen in March this year.
Release date of full version of World War 3 has still not been announced, although after opening the game to a larger audience we can expect that it will happen sooner rather than later.
