Xiaomi Mi 11 Sold Without Charger; First Details Revealed

Xiaomi follows in Apple's footsteps and removes chargers from the boxes of its flagships. The first device to see this move is Xiaomi Mi 11.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Xiaomi Mi 11 will be revealed today.
  2. No charger is included with the smartphone.

Xiaomi follows in Apple's footsteps once again. There's no charger in the Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone box. Lei Jun, co-founder of the company, confirmed this in an entry published on Weibo. The official reason for this decision is the same as for Apple - environmental care.

What makes the situation even more spicy is the fact that before the launch of Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, the Chinese company made fun of Apple for removing the charger. As you can see, this did not prevent them from doing the same thing some time later, using the same excuse.

Xiaomi used to make fun of Apple, now it follows in the footsteps of an American company. Not the first time.

However, Lei Jun in the entry promises a "more environment-friendly solution". Today, we will find out what he meant, when the Chinese company officially reveals the latest model of its flagship smartphone. From the leaks we know that it will feature the latest Snapdragon 888 with full 5G support, a 6.67-inch display with 3200x1440 resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz (rumors say even of 144 Hz) and a 108 Mpix camera matrix.
