What is the Skeleton Key?

How to complete the Nocturnal quest?

First, you must reach character level 10. Without this, you will not be able to continue the quest. Once you achieve level 10, go to the Shrine of Nocturnal. It is located north of the city of Leyawiin. Once you get there, you'll need to talk to an NPC named Mor gra-Gamorn, an orc in a dark robe.

Talk to him and ask about Nocturnal. After a short conversation, you will receive the Nocturnal quest. Go to the Shrine of Nocturnal and interact with it.

After a short monologue, you will learn that Nocturnal wants to get back the Eye of Nocturnal. It was stolen by two Argonians. You will need to travel to Leyawiin to search for it.

In the city centre you should find the house of an NPC named Weebam-Na. Head inside and ask about the Eye of Nocturnal.

Of course, they won't admit that they stole the item. After the conversation, try to hide behind a wall. After a while, when the characters are unaware of your presence, they will spill where they have hidden the Eye of Nocturnal. If your stealth stat is too low, use an invisibility potion.

The Eye was hidden in the Tidewater Cave. It is located south of the city of Leyawiin. Go inside the cave, but be prepared to fight trolls and wolves.

Once inside, keep to the left. When you see a torch flame, turn left instead of going forward. There, after a while, you will notice water. Jump into it and dive.

It is there, underwater, that you will find the Eye of Nocturnal. After picking up this item, leave the Tidewater Cave and head back to the Shrine of Nocturnal. After talking to Nocturnal and handing over the Eye, you will receive the Skeleton Key and the quest will come to an end.
