Resident Evil 4 Remake: Freezer terminal puzzle

In chapter 13 in RE4 Remake, Leon will reach the Freezer where you can do an optional terminal puzzle. The walkthrough informs how to set up the correct power supply and how to unlock the storage with a unique weapon - SMG LE 5.

Active terminal in Freezer

After obtaining the Level 1 Keycard in chapter 13, you can head to the Freezer.

It is unlocked by using Keycard on the terminal.

In the room, you can find the Overwrite Terminal related to the main story, but first examine the right terminal to unlock a side room.

Solving the connection puzzle

The described puzzle has an identical premise to the one in the earlier location - you have to ensure an adequate supply of electricity:

1. You can use the left analog stick and select connection groups - external, two middle and internal.
2. Pressing the action button can rotate connections from the current group. They resemble blocks from Tetris.
3. The goal of the puzzle is to lead electricity to the 5 lightning icons. There are more of them than in the previou puzzle of this type.

The solution to the puzzle is shown in the picture. After selecting the right connections, highlight the middle lightning bolt and press the interaction button.

After setting the connection correctly, the game will display the System Restored message. You can enter the new room.

It has a secret - SMG LE 5 weapon, which can replace the TMP model.
