In Resident Evil 4 Remake, Pesetas can be obtained in many ways - as potential loot from killed enemies, destroyed barrels or vases, but also by selling items. Here you will learn whether it is worth selling keys from your inventory.

Is it profitable to sell keys?

It is worth starting with the fact that the keys as well as key items aren't worth a lot of money. You will usually get about three or four thousand Pesetas for them. Nonetheless, they are worth selling for a simple reason - all keys as well as key items that end up in the Sell tab will not be suitable for anything else.

Why is it impossible to sell a key?

Sometimes it may happen that a key item won't appear in the Sell tab. This means that a particular key will be usable in the current chapter.

You can sell them only when there is no mechanism in the following chapters that needs a specific key to open or unlock it. An example is the Cubic Device, which is used to open chests, rooms or other devices in the Castle. Once you reach the Island or unlock everything in a location with this item, it will be moved to the Sell tab. Then you can sell it for Pesetas.
