Unlocking shortcuts

As you explore the maps, you can find shortcuts that make it easier to return to other areas. The shortcuts include:

1. ziplines you can cut with a lightsaber;
2. posts that can be hacked by D1;
3. doors that can be opened from a certain side (if you approach it from the wrong side, you will get a notification).

You may come across Disconnected Zipline. You must first find another point in the area to connect the zipline. It will be attached to an inactive post.

When you successfully create a shortcut, it will be confirmed by a message on the screen. You can also use the holographic map to see your shortcuts, for example, a line symbolizing a zipline or green passage meaning an open door.

Using shortcuts

The greatest advantage of shortcuts is that you can quickly reach neighboring areas. This is most helpful in those locations with meditation points - you can rest and save the game and resume further exploration more easily by skipping some areas with enemies or climbing.
