Star Wars Jedi Survivor: How to bypass a green gate?

Green barriers make exploration of locations in Jedi Survivor in 100% more difficult. In the guide we suggest how to unlock the skill that allows you to go through green laser gates. It will help you reach optional locations with various secrets.

First green gates on Coruscant

You can come across the green laser gates on your first visit to Coruscant at the beginning of the game. They will begin to appear more or less after defeating the first boss - K-405.

Initially, you can't do anything with a green barrier and must ignore it. It will also be marked in red on the map - this means that the passage in question is currently blocked.

Getting the ability to go through a laser gate

You must make enough progress in the main story. During your second visit to Jedha in the main storyline, you will head to the Pilgrim's Sanctuary.

Merrin will accompany you. You will meet her when you reach the Buried Refuge and receive Merrin's Magicked Charm from Night Sister. It will unlock a new exploration skill - Merrin's Charm.

From then on, Cal can go through the green gates - they should now be marked with a green color on the map, which means that the passage is available.

You must press the evade button (Circle/B on the pad) to perform a dash.

For higher located green gates, for example, you first have to find a place to use the rope to climb or perform a wall run. Press the button to activate the dash while in the air.
