Reaching the Ruins Landing Site location

The Ruins Landing Site is the first location visited on the planet Jedha. You have to get to the top, but the steep slope will make the hero slide back down.

First, reach the small rock shelves and make sure not to slide back down to the very bottom. You have to jump to the next shelves - remember about double jumps.

At the place in the picture you have to make wall run.

At the very end of the wall run, you have to make a jump - don't worry about Cal not jumping to the next vertical wall. The hero will only slide down a bit - this is part of the story.

Turn to the left and you will notice vertical walls to climb - bounce off between them.

At the top, grab the edge and move to the left while hanging down. Grab the higher edge and continue heading left.

The last step is to make a second wall run, which you finish with a double jump.

At the top, you can unlock the shortcut. In the place from the picture, let BD-1 use the terminal and hang out the rope. This will allow you to restart your exploration at the Mantis without having to climb again. You can also unlock a meditation point in the area and use fast travel.
