During their travels in New England and in the course of various activities, the titular Banishers will often have to perform various rituals. However, to be able to perform a ritual, you need to have certain specific resources that are additionally spent in the course of performing it. Where to look for resources for rituals?
To perform each ritual, you need to have certain ingredients that are often exclusive to different regions of the world map. Nevertheless, these reagents are not as fancy as you may think - you'll often use plants, mushrooms, and minerals commonly found in the areas you'll explore. Finding them is not hard - make sure to explore every nook of the region you're currently in and sometimes take detours to search side paths.
However, it may happen that the resources needed for a ritual may have been consumed or spent on equipment upgrades. If you cannot find what you're need and are pressed for time, you can always use the services of one of visited merchants. The traders are marked with a leather pouch icon on the map and they often have what you need. Merchants specializing in resources for rituals include:

- Lucy Barrow from the settlement in The Harrows.
Additionally, to perform some of the rituals (especially those taking place during story missions), you're going to need a special item - most of the time one of the earthly belongings of the spirit you want to cleanse. To get such an item, simply follow the objectives of the given mission or activity.
Wild Chervil
A common white-flowered plant growing in the The Dark Woods region. Look for it especially along beaten roads.
Lilac Hyacinth
A tall plant topped with purple flowers. It likes moisture, so look for it near water containers. It also grows in the Dark Woods region.
Hoof Fungus
A common fungus growing on tree trunks and old wooden structures. Present in The Dark Woods region.
Pyrite
A copper-like mineral. Look for it along the hillsides and stone walls in The Dark Forest.
Waxy Cap Agaric
A mushroom of orange color. Found near trunks and roots of large trees. Look for it in The Harrows.
Mossy Polypore
A greenish fungus growing on buildings, trees and wooden structures. Common in the humid The Mire Marches region.
Crisp Moss
A moss-like plant that grows on buildings and abandoned objects. Found in The Harrows.
Green Hellebore
A tall plant that likes to grow near water. Found in The Mire Marches.
Sulphur Polypore
A characteristic mushroom with a bright, orange color. It grows on buildings and in the shady caves of Mount Pleasant.
