CAR: Genesis Town

TARGETS:

1. Replace oil and air filters
2. Change oil
3. Check the timing

REWARD: 500 USD

PARTS:

• Oil filter - 50 USD
• Air filter - 35 USD
• Oil change - 100 USD + cost of the new oil: ca. 10 USD
• Timing Belt - 120 USD

Client plans to do complex repair of the car he bought recently - in that order he wants you to do some basic repairing operations. First of them is a change of the oil and air filters. Buy new parts and replace them - in the first place assemble the new oil filter:

• Raise Hood and go to Engine - inspect view mode.
• Turn on the Disassemble Mode.
• Remove Oil Filter Cap.
• Remove Oil Filter.
• Turn on the Assemble Mode.
• Put in the new Oil Filter.
• Put on Oil Filter Cap.

Then replace the air filter:

• Turn on the Disassemble Mode.
• Remove Air Flow Tube.
• Remove Air Flow Meter.
• Remove Air Filter Cover.
• Remove worn-out Air Filter.
• Turn on the Assemble Mode.
• Assemble new Air Filter.
• Assemble Air Filter Cover.
• Assemble Air Flow Meter.
• Assemble Air Flow Tube.

Getting to the air filter requires you to twist off three elements responsible for cooling car.

Another step is the oil change:

1. Use Car Lifter.
2. Go to Engine - inspect view mode.
3. Find Oil Pan at the bottom of the engine.
4. Find Oil Drain Plug, twist off and flush the old oil.
5. Lower the car with Car Lifter and go to Engine - inspect view mode.
6. Twist off Engine Oil Fill Plug.
7. Click on the oil jerrycan and pour the oil to the engine for a few seconds.
8. Put out Oil Dipstick and check level of oil - point that connects gold and silver field should be as close to the scale's middle as possible.

Checking the timing becomes the last step. Go to the Examine conditions mode and check conditions of particular parts of that element. As it turns out, only part designed for replace is Timing Belt:

1. Remove Serpentine Belt
2. Remove Belt Tensioner
3. Remove Timing Belt and replace it with the new one.
4. Assemble Belt Tensioner.
5. Assemble Serpentine Belt.

New timing belt guarantees overall good condition of car.
