Prodeus is a game for older players, but not only. The so-called boomer shooters are nice because they focus primarily on providing fun. Who needs a complicated plot when you can indulge in a brutal, dynamic mayhem? We eliminate opponents by spilling their blood, and enjoying a juicy gunplay and a rich arsenal that constantly impresses with its power – and you can also wield two weapons at the same time.
In addition, we have an atmosphere straight from the cult Doom or Quake, and many well-designed locations that invite to poking around to find secrets. And at the same time do some platform jumping. The game is accompanied by heavy, dark music appropriate to the circumstances, which skillfully reinforces the atmosphere and adds dynamics to the clashes. This is not a perfect game, because it has quite significant shortcomings, but a fan of the genre should feel a lot like they were playing as Doomguy. That is: great.
