What will Baldur's Gate 3 be about?
This is the third installment of the iconic RPG series, launched in the 1990s. by BioWare studio. One hundred years after the events of the Throne of Bhaal , Baldur's Gate becomes the site of the raid of the Illithid Mind Raiders who kidnap the inhabitants to infect them and eventually turn them into similar creatures. This is how our hero gets infected. After escaping the kidnappers, he not only tries to find a cure for this ailment, but most of all discovers that the virus gives him special abilities unavailable to ordinary people. How will his story end?
Why are we waiting?
Baldur's Gate is a legendary and one of the best, most iconic RPGs that have appeared on computer screens. It's no wonder then that the sequel is attracting a lot of attention. For veterans, it is a way to make a nostalgic trip to a land where they spent a lot of time many years ago, for novices – an opportunity to plunge into an extraordinary world that every RPG fan should know. There is another studio behind the sequel, but they are the creators of the recognized Divinity series, following a rather similar formula as the one upon which Baldur's Gate is based. So it can be assumed that they know what they are doing and they will not spoil the atmosphere of the original.
