The game is another installment in the FIFA series. Electronic Arts introduced a lot of important changes in this follow-up, which will probably constitute a real treat for all the fans of virtual soccer. What is especially noticeable, is the introduction of the Real Players Motion technology that governs the appearances, animations and behavior of the in-game footballers. Although this technology encompasses mainly top players, the less-known footballers also behave in a more realistic manner, as the new system takes different factors into account, such as a footballer's height. The game brings a continuation to a story campaign from FIFA 17, embodied here by The Journey: Hunter Returns. FIFA 18 also brings a remodeled system of transfers in the career. The player is now capable of negotiating with clubs and particular footballers on their own. The FIFA Ultimate Team mode brings the Icon cards, representing legendary footballers. All of this is complemented by the use of the Frostbite engine, which mainly powers the cut-scenes displayed both in The Journey mode and the regular career component.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 lets the players take control of the world’s best soccer teams from prestigious leagues. The novelties include more precise control over individual players and a whole spectrum of tricks and moves you can use during virtual matches. The game is powered by a modified version of the Fox Engine (also used in Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain), featuring significantly improved 3D graphics.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 is a sports game, a football simulator, released by Konami, from Japan. Contrary to its rival franchise - FIFA by Electronic Arts - Pro Evolution Soccer doesn't have the license of the International Football Federation, but makes it up with licenses for the Champions League, Europe League, and Europe Supercup. The 2017 edition introduces a slew of novelties, available only on the 8th generation consoles - PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. These are, among others, the Precise Pass system, responsible for behavior of the ball during passes, or Real Touch - the way the players control the ball. The game also allows setting advanced tactics and immediate changing of the attitude of our team from offensive into defensive. Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 offers different game modes for single and multiplayer. myClub makes a comeback in this part - building your own team - and Master League, with an overhauled system for negotiation transfers. Just like last year, the visuals were provided by Fox Engine.

A sandbox RPG set in a fantasy world. In Outward the player can join one of four factions that compete with each other. Each faction offers a unique storyline and unique character development paths. Due to the autosave system, each decision and failure is final and cannot be changed. After being defeated, the protagonist wakes up with no equipment or in slavery. The developers intended to simulate the whole career of an adventurer – from humble beginnings to retirement. An experienced, retired warrior can provide his successor with some of his equipment and teach him skills, so that he can continue the journey. The title also features an arcade combat system, survival features and a crafting system. Outward offers a cooperation mode that enables the players to play locally or through the internet.

The developers prepared over 100 characters known from the Naruto Shippuden universe, including a completely new fighter created exclusively for the game by Masashi Kishimoto. New features include additional attacks and ways to combine them in more advanced techniques. As far as audiovisuals go, the title retains traditional colorful graphics stylized on original manga.

During her adventures, Aurora explores a vast, living world, where she encounters friendly fairies, gnomes, and sneaky monsters. Child of Light offers single player and multiplayer modes. In the latter, the second player takes on the role of a friendly firefly.

Another installment in one of the longest-standing and most popular soccer game series, whose consecutive iterations have been appearing since 1996, consequently developed by the Japanese company Konami. The 2016 edition, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the franchise, offers lots of innovations in addition to the usual wide array of options and play modes. First of all, opponents’ artificial intelligence in 1 on 1 duels, as well as its in-air play was improved, and new algorithms for goalkeepers were added. When it comes to the technical aspects, the game features significantly improved graphics, and, for the first time in the history of the series, dynamically changing weather. The in-game players received many new animations (including celebrations), and the ball physics and the collision system were enhanced. During the matches, you can listen to a duet of new commentators: Peter Drury and Marco Hagemann. In total, Titan Quest Anniversary Edition contains 1261 changes, including, for example, a better balancing of individual classes, abilities, weapons, and items. Other changes include: a better non-player character AI, greater equipment capacity, or an improved loot system. Aside from that, the game incorporates a large group of new enemies and bosses. The visuals underwent only symbolic changes, but they are still eye-catching, despite the passage of the time.

The main game mode is MyCareer, prepared under the eye of a famous American movie director Spike Lee. This ensured a compelling story enriched with subplots more or less connected to sport. Since FIFA 15 is the first game in the series released on the eight generation consoles and powered by the advanced Ignite engine, the most visible changes are related to the graphics. The ones standing out are remodeled players, accurately imitating profiles and faces of their real-life counterparts. Players react properly to the situation on the pitch, argue with the referee, or scuffle with opponents.

Additionally, the game features an intuitive crafting system, which allows the player to create simple tools as well as more advanced structures such as a raft or a makeshift hut. High quality graphic design, featuring dynamic weather and a night-and-day cycle, stands out in comparison to other games of this popular genre.

FlatOut 2 brings a continuation to a "brutal" racing game developed by Bugbear Entertainment. The original game combined regular racing competition with unlimited destruction - both cars and environmental objects could be damaged and / or destroyed. In FlatOut 2, the creators focused on extending the scope of mayhem the player witnesses, thus the only real challenge the player can encounter in this game constitutes of making it to the finish line in one piece. What's more, the crashes and car damage are visually even more impressive than in the original FlatOut, thanks to the improved graphics and an upgraded engine behind the in-game physics. The game offers 16 fully customizable cars, as well as 8 drivers differing in driving style and attitude towards opponents. FlatOut 2 brings both single player and multiplayer experience, for up to 8 players in the latter case. Additionally, Destruction Derbies were also included, similar to the original game. In Rag Doll events the player will "ski jump" or drive through fiery rings for example.

Dragon Ball FigtherZ is a 2.5D fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco where characters from the popular Dragon Ball universe fight each other. Unlike the previous Dragon Ball games, FighterZ uses the Tag Battle mechanics. We create a team of three different characters between which we can switch anytime we want to when fighting. Doing so allows us to execute powerful combos and special attacks. The battle ends when all of our characters have zero health points. Action takes place on 2D arenas, but all of the remaining elements of the game are 3D. It allowed the developers to use advanced graphical effects and stylized animations to make the game look like the classic anime.

Another annual entry in the popular soccer series by Konami. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 develops the ideas from the previous game. Real Touch +, a new system that is responsible for how players handle a ball, now takes more body parts into account. Thanks to that we can see animations that are much more different from each other when players receive a ball, hit it with their heads, dribble etc. Another important change is that matches are now slower which makes the game a little more realistic. Additionally, there is also strategic dribbling which gives more control over the ball and improved set pieces. Besides classic game modes, PES 2018 also brings back Random Selection Match mode which now has more options. Also, the game offers an online co-op mode for two or three people. The graphics are much better when compared with the previous games which means that the game on particular platforms aren't that different from each other.
