An expanded version of a popular indie game that has been released in 2011 by Team Meat studio. Nicalis studio, a bit more experienced team, has been involved in refreshing of the title, in cooperation with original developers. When it comes to mechanics, the gameplay hasn’t changed much, offering randomly-generated levels, traversed by the titular Isaac, who solves simple puzzles and eliminates monsters or much more powerful bosses. The main difference between the Flash-based original, is a completely new graphic engine, introducing new, improved visuals and a number of innovations that, as a result of technological limitations, hadn’t made their way into the original. The developers included the whole base game and its two DLCs, and introduced a number of novelties. A local co-op mode has been incorporated in the game, allowing two players to take part in a joint playthrough on one screen.

A sequel to the 2013 arcade fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us by NetherRealm Studios, known for the latest Mortal Kombat games. Like in its predecessor, in Injustice 2 you play as the characters from the DC universe, fighting each other in violent duels. The game features minimal plot, in which Batman and his supporters try to rebuild the society, but at the same time have to fight against Superman and his allies. Among the chaos, a new danger appears, threatening to wipe out all of humanity. Mechanics-wise, Injustice 2 is a spectacular Mortal Kombat-like 2.5D fighting game, although it's not as violent. You can play as either a hero or a villain; available characters include Superman, the Flash, Batman, Supergirl, Aquaman, Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. The sequel also allows for modifying your chosen character. During the gameplay, you earn new equipment, which can alter not only your character's appearance, but also their abilities.

The fourth full-fledged installment of the popular series of arcade fighting games in which characters known from Capcom games are facing Marvel Comics superheroes. In Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite two antagonists of both universes combine into one powerful creature known as Ultron Sigma. He is trying to take control of both worlds. In order to stop the villain the heroes from both dimensions have to find four Infinity Stones and face a group led by the so-called Jedah Dogma. Similarly to previous entries in the series, the title is a three-dimensional fighting game, in which the players participate in two-on-two battles. The fights take place on three-dimensional arenas and include most famous Marvel heroes and characters from Capcom games. The Infinity Stones are a new feature – they provide warriors with additional abilities during the combat.

A science-fiction based TPP shooter, which is the fourth installment in a popular series by Volition. The plot of Red Faction: Armageddon takes place fifty years after the events shown in the previous game. The humanity on Mars has been forced to descend to hide underground. The protagonist, Darius Mason, accidentally causes an alien race to wake up from their slumber. As it turns out, the aliens are aggressive and bloodthirsty, taking over subsequent human colonies. Our hero has to deal with the alien invasion, and at the same time, absolve himself from the accusations that he is responsible for the whole situation. When it comes to mechanics, the game departs from its predecessor, introducing a more linear structure, with more emphasis on the plot and movie-like approach to narration. Regardless, the most characteristic element of the series, the ability to lay waste to the environment using various weapons and other tools, has stayed unchanged.

The rest are completely new characters or ones from other games from this developer. The gameplay focuses on real-time battles with hundreds of participants. The title was released as part of the 15th anniversary of the series and it introduces some important novelties to the saga, including a modified combat system and a large open world that contains the entirety of China. The key to victory lies in proper usage of available weapons and special abilities of various characters and in taking advantage of the topography of the battlefields.

The characters set out for a journey, searching for a mysterious artifact known as Mirror of Smoke, which is to be used against the evil Xolotl, who has gained the power to control other spirits. Contrary to the third-person perspective the Tomb Raider games are usually played in, the spin-off is an isometric game resembling hack'n'slash titles in this aspect. The gameplay focuses on arcade elements and combat sequences, in which the player encounters hordes of ghosts - a special emphasis was placed on cooperation. The two characters have different abilities, therefore, close cooperation is the key to success. However, it is also worth mentioning that the game features elements which could be considered hallmarks of the Tomb Raider series as well, such as exploration of tombs and catacombs.

In the game, the players assume the role of a warrior of their choosing and fight against opponent controlled by either another player or by the AI. The game offers a wide choice of playable characters. Some of them return from previous entries in The King of Fighters series, but their fighting style was adapted to new gameplay mechanics that uses three-dimensional environment. The game itself focuses on performing attacks and combining them into combos while avoiding enemy blows. In addition to the singleplayer modes, among which there are arcade and training mode, King of Fighters XIV also contains advanced multiplayer options.

In the game, we are taken to a slightly surreal world from Bob’s dreams, where he has to face his own fears, traversing several lands full of various obstacles. The gameplay mechanics are based mainly on exploration and solving puzzles by manipulating objects in the environment. Everything is governed by the realistic physics engine that manages the behavior of all items and the unusual controls that are characterized by significant inertia of the protagonist. Human: Fall Flat is designed not to impose any specific way of doing things but to reward creativity and the ability to think outside the box.

Yoshi's Crafted World

A three-dimensional platformer designed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch console. The players take control of Yoshi – a cute dinosaur-like creature known from the Mario franchise. This time he is taken to a miniature world filled with challenges requiring both skill and logic, and offering many gold coins to collect. Yoshi is a classic platformer with side view, with our hero running, jumping and throwing eggs at enemies or environmental objects. Interestingly, the camera can be changed at any moment to look at the level from another perspective. This can be used to discover new paths and many surprises, and each level can be completed in two ways. The game can be completed in cooperation in split-screen mode for two players. Visually, Yoshi uses box-like miniature dioramas, resembling the Paper Mario series.
