The most complete edition of the fifth installment in the cult fighting game series Dead or Alive. The first version of this game was released in 2012 on seventh generation consoles. The game was developed by studio Team Ninja which also created some entries in the Ninja Gaiden series. A characteristic trait of Dead or Alive games are the dynamic battles with an option to capture enemy attacks directed at different body parts. The duels take place across the whole world on multi-level arenas filled with destructible objects. The warriors have more than 300 sets of clothing and accessories to unlock so that the player can customize their characters as he wants. The Last Round edition contains all previously available game modes and a full set of DLCs released after the debut of the original game. The PC and eight-generation consoles versions of the game have better special effects and 1080p resolution support.

One of the biggest novelties is the Personality Plus system, which reflects the player's distinct characteristics in the pitch, making the difference between soccer stars and other players more apparent. The goalkeepers' behavior was also improved, as they estimate the ball's trajectory more realistically now and can be fooled by ricocheting during free kicks. Other improvements include upgraded animations of the players, i.e. during the goal celebration. FIFA 11 allows you to lead your team to victory in a single match or in a campaign-like manager mode. The game also features the Be A Pro mode, in which you take on the role of a given player and develop his skills. You can also compete against others in the online mode.

The game is presented in a perspective typical for platform games, and the turn-based combat system is inspired by the jRPG genre. During her adventures, Aurora explores a vast, living world, where she encounters friendly fairies, gnomes, and sneaky monsters. Child of Light offers single player and multiplayer modes. In the latter, the second player takes on the role of a friendly firefly.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is an action game where we control our own, self-made space ship. We use it to fight not only in space, but also in the atmosphere of many planets. The game’s world is open and dynamic, and changes under the influence of ours and our antagonists' decisions. What makes Starlink: Battle for Atlas a unique game is the fact that it is integrated with spaceship minifigures that are sold separately. Those minifigures are modular, which allows us to manually change their parts and pilots. These changes are instantly taken to the virtual world.

Another edition of an annually released sports game series devoted to basketball, developed jointly by Visual Concepts and the publisher of the franchise, 2K Games. NBA 2K16 employs the well-proven mechanics of the series, offering user-friendly controls that achieve the perfect balance between simulation and arcade, as well as the traditional wide array of play modes for both single and multiplayer. The main game mode is MyCareer, prepared under the eye of a famous American movie director Spike Lee. This ensured a compelling story enriched with subplots more or less connected to sport. The creators also introduced a bunch of gameplay improvements, mostly focused around player control. Moreover, graphics was enhanced, becoming much more detailed - including things like the players’ shoes. You can also appreciate more detailed and better animated crowds.

The player assumes the role of a plane crash survivor who struggles to remain alive on one of the uninhabited islands of the Pacific. Both areas are randomly generated before each game. The life of our hero can be endangered by various threats: hunger, thirst, heat during the day, or a sudden drop in temperature at night. An encounter with a shark or sailing into the open sea during a storm may also prove deadly. Additionally, the game features an intuitive crafting system, which allows the player to create simple tools as well as more advanced structures such as a raft or a makeshift hut. High quality graphic design, featuring dynamic weather and a night-and-day cycle, stands out in comparison to other games of this popular genre.

When it comes to the technical aspects, the game features significantly improved graphics, and, for the first time in the history of the series, dynamically changing weather. During the matches, you can listen to a duet of new commentators: Peter Drury and Marco Hagemann. For the first time in the series, the game features also European league cups, including Champions League, European League, and European Super Cup.

Another installment of the annually released sports games series, constituting the primary alternative for the football productions released by EA Sports. It was developed, as was the whole franchise and all the other installments in it, by the Japanese media giant, Konami. Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 traditionally offers an opportunity to lead top football clubs from all over the world to victory in subsequent tournaments: from league matches through various cups and ending with championships. In the latest PES Master League Online was replaced by the myClub mode, as a response to the Ultimate Team known from the FIFA series. The single player gameplay is complemented by a usual set of online modes that allow us to compete against players from all around the globe. Thanks to the capabilities of the 8th-generation consoles, the game's physics and graphics were improved, as were the AI algorithms and audience behavior.

Action of Golden Axe takes place in a land of Yuri, invaded by a barbarian named Death Adder, who kidnapped the king and his daughter, wanting to take possession of the legendary golden axe. Three heroes arise to fight him: a barbarian, a dwarf, and an amazon, each of them specializing in a different type of weapon. During the game we continually move to the right side of the screen, traversing subsequent levels and confronting scores of enemies, as well as powerful bosses. Apart from wielding weapons, the game also allows us to mount dragons, and in the most critical moments, use magic, the power of which increases as we collect special mana potions. The game can be played with another person, offering a co-op adventure mode or classic one on one duels (with another hero or with subsequent enemies).
