Compilation of the first three installments in the cult brawler game series, released for arcade machines at the turn of the 1980s and 90s. The remasters of those classic titles were handled by DotEmu. Double Dragon Trilogy tells of the adventures of two brothers – Billy and Jimmy Lee – Sou-Setsu-Ken masters, who run a small martial arts school in a post-apocalyptic New York. All three games are focused on two-person co-op gameplay, which comes down to traversing two-dimensional levels and beating up opponents on the way. Melee combat is based on a whole range of punches and kicks as well as the frequent use of different types of weapons. The games offer both Story Mode and Arcade Mode, the latter being all about high scores. Double Dragon Trilogy returns with slightly enhanced graphics, although it is also possible to play with the original audiovisuals. In addition, the remasters offer three levels of difficulty and the option to customize controls.

IronMonkey’s mobile rendition of the 2008’s science-fiction survival horror game, Dead Space. The title is not a simple conversion, though; it tells an entirely new story that takes place 3 years after the events of the original, on the very same space station the action of Dead Space 2 took place. In the game, we assume the role of an engineer nicknamed Vandal who acts on behalf of the dangerous Unitologist sect who believe the appearance of the Necromorph is a part of a divine plan of annihilating the humanity. When the protagonist realizes the danger she has caused, she begins a race against time to prevent the epidemic from spreading throughout the entire base. As far as gameplay and atmosphere are concerned, the mobile version of Dead Space does not deviate significantly from the original, introducing only the crucial changes stemming from the properties of handheld devices.

A modern remake of one of the most controversial games in gaming history. Originally, the title came out in 1997 as a debut production from the developer Running With Scissors. Both the gameplay and the premise were inspired by the phrase “going postal” which means to become uncontrollably angry and violent as a result of working a stressful job. In the game, we assume the role of the Postal Dude who hits the streets with an intent of murdering anyone who happens to stand, walk, or sit in his way. The title offers several various levels, in which the innocent civilians will be slaughtered with a vast arsenal of weapons of different caliber and purpose. The new version is powered by Unreal Engine 4, which translates into incomparably better graphics, prettier locations, and more detailed character models. It also offers a cooperation mode. Despite the changes to the technical side of the game, the developers managed to preserve the specific atmosphere of the original.

In this mode, the player can enjoy three arcade mini-games, including Laser Dodging, Bullet Mode and Racing.

The third installment in a strategic tower-defense game with action elements. The franchise was created in 2010 by Signal Studios. Gameplay in Toy Soldiers: War Chest is based on the series' token mechanics. You control an army of toy soldiers who have to defend their base from enemy attacks. To that end you must deploy various cannons and guns, which can later be upgraded to increase their fire power. At any moment you can take control of an individual unit, switching the perspective to TPP. The third part of Toy Soldiers series offers four distinctive armies – starting with the German Empire from the World War I period to a fantasy army of Star Power which enlists Pegasi, Unicorns, and other legendary creatures. Each side of the conflict has its own unique units, weapons, and types of attacks, which determine your preferred tactics.

The second stand-alone expansion for Company of Heroes 2, the game developed in 2013 by the Relic Entertainment studio. As the subtitle of the add-on suggests, in the game we return to the Western Front of World War II during the famous German counter-offensive in the Ardennes. In contrast to the first expansion that focused on multiplayer mode, this time the developers decided to concentrate on the single player campaign. During 18 subsequent missions telling a single, coherent story we take charge of the American units fighting against the forces of Nazi Germany. Game develops dynamically depending on our decisions, and the key to success is to gain experience, plan tactically and wisely manage a very limited supply of people and equipment. Technical aspects of the game remained unchanged, but the developers decided to introduce three new American companies with unique officers.

Mechanics of the game are same as in the original and the gameplay focuses on traveling through levels and eliminating opponents by using characteristic weapons and abilities of the protagonists. Pixel art graphics of the game remained the same as well, referencing classic arcade shooters. The game offers singleplayer and multiplayer modes, the latter allowing playing for up to four players locally or through the internet.

As an admirable child, you decide to find them. The game employs a classic point’n’click mechanics. The journey takes us to various locations in which we solve puzzles with the use of various items. Additionally, the hero possesses some special abilities - his head glows and thus lights up dark spaces. Moreover, it emits warmth and can shock enemies with electric charges. Fights primarily consist in racking your brains and outsmarting enemies. Bulb Boy features 2D graphics that utilize various shades of green, which contributes to the game’s unique style.

Age of Empires: Castle Siege is a spin-off of the best-selling Age of Empires series. Castle Siege is a free-to-play game with optional microtransactions. The game was developed by Smoking Gun Interactive, creators of many mobile games and Kinect games for Xbox 360, under the watchful eye of Microsoft. Castle Siege is set in medieval times, and the players can choose one of the few historic factions to play as. The game's mechanics are rather different than those from the regular Age of Empires games. Age of Empires: Castle Siege has two primary gameplay aspects: the economic one, focusing on gathering resources, castle's extensions, and technological development; and the strategic one, which requires the players to attack other strongholds, controlled either by A.I. or other players. Multiplayer, which allows PC and mobile gamers to play together, is the core of the gameplay. However, Smoking Gun Interactive also created a single player mode, in which the players can play out a multiple mission campaign, and single scenarios inspired by famous historic battles.

The game offers cartoonish 3D graphics, with characters designed by a famous mangaka, Akira Toriyama. Thanks to the 8th-generation consoles' capabilities, the developers introduced previously unavailable visual effects and increased the number of opponents visible on the screen simultaneously.

Ever since that day, she spends most of the time in the garden next to her house, accompanied by a cat named Nani. One day, the animal disappears, and Rae decides to leave the house for the first time in a long time to find her lost pet. The gameplay consists of traversing alien, hostile environment in search of traces of the lost cat. Since we control a blind girl, the game quite significantly deviates from the established formulas of the genre, because the protagonist has to skillfully use the incoming stimuli, mostly sound-based ones, for the purposes of orientation and visualization of the surrounding world. The game features unusual graphics that are full of endless white and dimly outlined shapes.

Both the train models and the environment have more details to them, and thanks to the improved physics, visuals, and dynamic weather the game is even closer to reality. Introduction of the new game engine brought many changes, but the gameplay mechanics remain intact. We still design our own railways and test them. Traditionally, there is a set of pre-made routes available and many highly detailed railway engine models.

Left Behind is a prequel to the original game, and it focuses on Ellie and her best friend Riley attending a military school in the quarantined area. One day a series of dramatic events occurs, changing both of their lives forever. The premise becomes an excuse to depict the bonds growing between the two characters. The main story is mingled with a subplot which concerns tthe adventures of Ellie and Riley set within the story of the original game. The basic gameplay mechanics have not changed, but since we play as a teenage girl, the gameplay's focus on open combat is substantially reduced.

The fifth major expansion pack for Crusader Kings II - an acclaimed strategy game developed by Paradox Interactive. The Sons of Abraham expansion focuses on religion-related gameplay aspects, introducing new mechanics to the three main religions of the Middle Ages - Christianity, Islam and Judaism. When it comes to Christianity, mainly the mechanisms regulating the administrative sphere of papacy were extended. But most importantly however, the College of Cardinals was introduced, which consists of 9 persons. Heresies and orders have become much more important, but the player is now capable of sending a "redundant" descendant to one such order as well. As far as Islam is concerned, playing as the Sunnis was enriched with new content. The player now has voice in the dispute between the progressive Ash'arites and the conservative Mu'tazilites. Interestingly, Muslims are now capable of creating their own political structures in the form of caliphates. Judaism on the other hand is a complete novelty here. Playing as a Jewish character is possible only within the Khazar Khaganate, and the player's prime goal is to restore the ancient Kingdom of Israel.
