Considered the spiritual successor to the classic Ultima Underworld, Underworld Ascendant is a first-person cRPG developed by OtherSide Entertainment, a team led by Paul Neurath - the co-creator of Ultima. The game is set in the Stygian Abyss, a place known among the fans of the series - an underground world inhabited by three races that fight for power. Assuming the role of a character described by one of the three available classes, the player picks one side of the conflict in order to experience an epic adventure in a world filled with underground towns, mazes, temples, huge cavern systems, as well as dense forests. The game is played from the first-person view; as for combat, the game utilizes a real-time system which involves use of traditional weapons and spells. Apart from individual skills of one's character, in order to succeed, one also has to pay attention to their mobility, reflexes, and the ability to take advantage of the shape of terrain. What is distinctive about the game, the player is given a lot of freedom concerning their approach to gameplay, and the events change in a dynamic way in response to the player's actions.

The battles are short, up to several minutes long. The controls in The Ember Conflict are gesture-based, and you lead your troops by drawing lines on the screen. You can lead a group of up to six characters, and you choose them from eighteen available types. To make things more interesting, you can modify their equipment. Another major installment in the bestselling turn-based strategy game series that focus on a humorous rivalry between the eponymous worms. In Worms WMD, the basic gameplay principles remain unchanged, and the players still have to eliminate the opposite team using a number of more or less unconventional weapons. The participants make their moves in turns and their actions are limited by a time limit. The game refers to the initial two-dimensional installments of the series, which means that battles are presented from the classical side view. The title does not lack for several enriching novelties, though. These include the possibility to hide inside buildings and to use vehicles that allow us to traverse the battlefield and deal damage to the enemy. Visually, the production features the characteristic cartoonish visual style, although the worms’ appearance and animation were refreshed.

While playing, we can either experience the entire path of Rome to hegemony in the ancient world as it happened or try to change history by leading one of the remaining nations. The gameplay mechanics remain faithful to the series’ standards, combining elements of the so-called grand strategy game genre with real-time tactical combat and active pause. At the same time, the developers introduced a myriad of novelties such as enhanced city development, new army abilities, and the possibility of trading resources and slaves. The gameplay takes place on a significantly more detailed map, while the players are given over 25 factions that belong to four main cultures.

This does not allow even a moment’s rest, while the locations are filled with numerous obstacles such as mobile platforms, crushing totems, or fire-searing flowers. A turn-based strategy game for mobile devices, based on the popular TV series by AMC Network. The Walking Dead: No Man's Land takes us to a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the living dead, while the production’s plot is strictly connected to the TV series. Gameplay-wise, it is a classic turn-based strategy game. While playing, we command a small group of humans who fight hordes of hungry zombies. Given that we are outnumbered, the key to success lies in crowd control and avoiding confrontation with overly numerous groups. Between missions, we develop and manage our base. It is necessary to construct buildings, gather resources, issue commands to other survivors, and manage what little resources we have. The Walking Dead: No Man's Land doesn’t go easy on the player — every death is permanent and human losses are inevitable. This fact often forces us to make hard moral choices about who lives and who dies.

Gameplay focuses on real-time battles between groups of warriors. Each of them has their own strengths and weaknesses, and the key to victory lies in taking advantage of them. Cards also play an important role in exploration. Battles take place on three-dimensional maps that are divided into hexagonal tiles, and lay of the land, which is an important tactical element that should be taken under consideration when we are preparing our strategy. Because the creators placed a large emphasis on realism and tactical aspects of each encounter, the pace of action here is not as fast as it usually is in similar online games. Because the players do not respawn within a single match, each action has to be preceded by planning, caution, as well as accompanied by effective communication in one's team. The participants make use of a wide set of modern-day weapons, but they can also erect various fortifications, set traps or do reconnaissance using drones. It is possible to destroy elements of the environment here as well, in order to create a passage into the enemy positions for instance. An episodic cyberpunk point-and-click adventure game; it's prototype came third in the PointClickJam competition. The game is set in a futuristic city, where gender and species differences became blurred, and a new hobby emerged: collecting people's memories. Fyn, a girl tired of her present life, decided to go through somebody else's memories to rediscover her own identity. The story in each episode may take a different turn, depending on your actions. The game's atmosphere is dark and surreal, inspired by road movies, the culture and music of the 1980s and the works of Philip K. Dick, William Gibson and David Cronenberg, and the visuals complement it. Especially noteworthy are the surreal sceneries full of blurred shapes and pastel colors, contrasting with the pixel-art character designs.

Plot of Vector 2 continues the storyline of the original and takes us back to the dreary world of the future, in which the eye of Big Brother keeps track of all actions of the people. Protagonist known from the first installment was eventually captured by security forces, but, instead of killing him, they decided to use his skills to test some new equipment in a secret research facility. In comparison with the original, game mechanics have not changed significantly and the gameplay boils down to overcoming successive levels with gradually learned parkour tricks. This time, however, individual levels are procedurally generated and each death is final. An arcade role-playing clicker game, in which the gameplay mechanics focus on quickly clicking the screen of your phone or tablet. In Clicker Heroes you play as a hero traveling through a fantasy world full of various creatures. You usually click the monsters to death and loot what's left of them for gold coins. You use the money to develop your hero and make him stronger. You can also hire a helper, who fights the monsters on his own, even when the game is turned off. This way you defeat hordes of foes and earn heaps of money, which you later spend on hiring more helpers, developing them, or obtaining special abilities. You have a certain number of enemies to defeat on each level, along with a stronger boss, which needs to be defeated in 30 seconds; if you fail, the boss' health renews and you have to start over.
