Our character can fight back by throwing objects or attacking with a stick, while he retains his distance. The puzzles revolve around physics, which must be used to overcome obstacles. Feist employs visuals similar to Limbo’s, with black outlines of objects on pastel-like background, though the latter being much more detailed and colorful.

EverQuest: Veil of Alaris offers more than 110 new quests and 20 missions, as well as 13 raids. The add-on also raises upper limit of experience, meaning the players can now reach level 95. Additionally, Daybreak Game Company decided to implement refreshed interface, with the biggest novelty being the so called Hotbar System that can be used to personalize options and item windows. Guilds can also change the appearance of their headquarters, adding furniture and decorations, giving ranks and titles to their members and awarding them with trophies. Lastly, DLC introduces an option of sharing items and currency with offline players.

A sequel to the dynamic action game with RPG features inspired by the Monster Hunter series and developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Like its predecessor, God Eater 2 was made for PlayStation handhelds. We play as a hero wielding a magical weapon, whose party must deal with more and more powerful monsters. The story starts three years after the events of the first game, in which the world witnessed the invasion of monstrous beats, halted only by the titular God Eaters. An arcade battle system is still based on player’s reflexes, and it is important to come out with proper tactic before the fight. Each adversary has its own strong and weak points, discovering which is the key to success. Hero’s weaponry has been expanded with two new weapons: Boost Hammer and Charge Spear. Aside from single player campaign, God Eater 2 offers improved multiplayer mode.

One day, when the village is invaded by sky pirates, our protagonist embarks on a dangerous adventure that will be full of exploration of intriguing locations and battling increasingly difficult opponents. When it comes to mechanics, the title is reminiscent of classic platform games, and during the gameplay we traverse vast areas, fighting or completing various main and side tasks. What sets Owlboy apart from other games of the genre is the fact that our hero can fly, which greatly facilitates completing of platforming sections. During the gameplay, Otus can pick-up and throw various items, and as the time passes, acquires many new skills and useful artifacts. He can also employ the help of an allied marksman, and use him as mobile turret, helping in the elimination of opponents.

Our hero decides to stop the awakened evil, rescue the town’s inhabitants, and then safely return to his home. The game borrows many features from classics like Metroid or Castlevania, as well as The Legend of Zelda and Diablo series. The game's metroidvania-inspired premise is mixed with RPG mechanics, meaning that the hero can obtain new equipment and develop his skills. As we play, we must avoid traps, solve environmental puzzles and – obviously – fight with generic enemies and powerful bosses.

Gameplay in Infinite Crisis enriched by the random cataclysms that can change the appearance of maps and force the players to change their tactics.
