Developed by an experienced studio Natsume, Godzilla is a third-person action game featuring one of the most famous film monsters. This game is set 60 years after the events in the cult movie from 1950s. The reborn Godzilla reappears in order to obtain more G-Energy, which is essential for the monster’s evolution. In the Destruction Mode the players must traverse 20 locations in search of G-Energy generators. As you absorb it the monster grows and gains new abilities, thus increasing its chances against G-Force squads and bosses (i.e. other movie monsters). The game presents a truly cinematic scope and is enriched by lots of treats for fans of the cult franchise. The next-gen version lets you play not only as Godzilla, but also as any of the monsters appearing in the game. The developer also prepared a new game mode and multiplayer gameplay.

A tenth installment in the popular baseball game series, translating the most popular and the most important Major League Baseball moments into the video game setting. When compared to its predecessor, MLB 15: The Show offers updated teams and line-ups. The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 releases feature also more appealing visuals, improved ball physics, better AI algorithms, and new player animations. All this allows the players to observe completely new situations on the field. Moreover, the player-handling model has been somewhat simplified in order to make the analog stick controls more user-friendly. For the first time in the series’ history, the game features a licensed baseball gear (bats, helmets, apparel, etc.). Thanks to the improved management module players can sign new sponsorship contracts with companies existing in the real world. Additionally, the team management system has been improved, making it easier to acquire and train new players. Developers also implemented into the game the Inside The Show radio broadcast, which is filled with the up-to-date news and comments on the 2015’s league games.

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is an original mix of action game and a turn-based strategy developed by the Japanese studio Intelligent Systems. The game is set in a steampunk world. Action in Code Name: S.T.E.A.M takes place in the 19th century London invaded by aggressive creatures from outer space. During our adventures we control a four-person unit of soldiers which is a part of the elite S.T.E.A.M formation. Our job is to fend off the invaders. Combat is turn-based. In battle, we have to wisely manage our resources and rely on tactical actions, like flanking or ambushing our enemies. As we play, our soldiers get more powerful equipment, making them more effective in combat. We observe the action from a third-person perspective, just like in many action games. The game features fully-3D visuals.

The locations are full of ruins and still active defensive computer systems, left by the locals. You task is to discover the secrets of this place. The ship you fly is in the air and you steer it by using its maneuvering engines. The ship's cockpit and other important information are shown on the Wii U's gamepad. Thanks to the interface, accessed by the touchscreen, you can control the masking and defensive systems your ship. By using them, you can sneak past your enemies and disable various traps. Affordable Space Adventures features a single player mode and a co-op mode for up to three players. Te game utilizes 2.5D visuals. The background are very detailed and each location is distinct in terms or atmosphere and climate.

A third-person survival horror from the independent French studio OSome, inspired by the Alone in the Dark series. White Night takes place in 1930’s, following a hero trapped in an old family mansion that hides a dark secret of the past. Our main enemy are the dark and mysterious creatures that dwell in it, forcing us to solve many puzzles based on light and dark mechanics. Using various sources of light somewhat resembles Alan Wake, with plot and storytelling inspired by works of people like Alfred Hitchcock, David Lynch and Roman Polanski. Visuals are the most outstanding part of the game, using only black and white with many symbolic elements, referring to classic works of German expressionism.

A classic investigation point-and-click adventure game developed by Dutch artist and developer Tim Hengeveld. The story of the game was inspired by actual events that occurred in British Columbia, a province of Canada, where several young women disappeared along a remote highway. The player assumes the role of a woman named Sofia who, accompanied by camera operator Caleb, travels to Augier’s Peak city in order to solve the mystery and find either the three missing girls or their corpses. The gameplay focuses on exploration and conversations with NPCs in order to find new clues and evidence. The story of the title is typical for an investigation game but it was enriched with some beliefs of North American tribes. The graphics of the title have slightly cartoonish style which, however, doesn’t feel at odds with the serious tone of the game's story.

A game which combines first-person online shooter mechanics with elements of sandbox games such as Minecraft. It was developed by the independent studio, Blowfish. The game features unique, pixel art visuals and a single player story campaign which can be completed either by sticking to the storyline or re-shaping it by taking different actions. However, the essence of the gameplay is contained within a few standard multiplayer modes, allowing for both cooperation and rivalry between the players, such as Deathmatch, Point Capture or Capture the Flag. Maps are created by the players themselves, who are capable of shaping the terrain and constructing different buildings. The game features an extensive map editor which allows us to create diversified arenas using many useful tools and share them with others. Interestingly, particular maps can be even modified during multiplayer sessions with other players.

An expansion for Crusader Kings II, a 2012’s grand strategy game by Paradox Interactive and the second installment of the series based on the mechanics of the Europa Universalis franchise. Crusader Kings II: Charlemagne is focused on the eponymous Charles the Great, king of the Franks and the founder of the Holy Roman Empire. The action takes us to the year 769, to the early years of his reign. The campaign concentrates on the most important events of Charlemagne’s reign and the wars he fought. The expansion introduces a number of special events that do not appear in the vanilla game as well as a new system of climatic and seasonal changes. Crusader Kings II: Charlemagne also comes with several gameplay mechanic modifications and some entirely new options, such as creation of your own country (including its flag and a unique name). Our deeds as a medieval emperor are summed up by a special annual chronicle.

An atmospheric arcade game with stealth elements, developed by Polish studio Bloober Team, the creators of e.g. Alien Breed of Layers of Fear. Scopophobia takes place in a world resembling 19th century London. The city is haunted by a huge basilisk, which can turn people into stone with the power of his sight. He players take on the roles of children, who try to avoid the beast's deadly gaze at any cost. Scopophobia is full of suspense and does make you feel like you're constantly being hunted. The default gameplay mode is the asymmetric multiplayer one—you play as either one of the children or the basilisk itself. Both sides feature several character classes, who possess various special abilities. The matches take place on varied maps.

A classic trading card game (TCG) set in a fantasy world where forces of Good and Evil fight each other divided into six different factions. It has been developed by Bulgarian Dream Reactor studio. Each of the factions’ heroes belongs to one of six play styles: Order, Wisdom, Nature, Corruption, Dominion, and Rage. They also have a unique skill each and can learn more of them, using special shrines, as the game progress. Fights in Spellweaver TCG employ a classic turn-based system, but we can use some of the spells or various battle tricks during opponent’s move. It offers a lot of tactical depth, while emphasizing the strategic aspect. The game has been developed with multiplayer mode in mind, where we can take part in tournaments and slowly climb up online rankings. For solitary players, developers prepared an extensive single player campaign.

Another browser MMO game adaptation of the cult Star Trek TV series universe. The title was based on the newest canon of the series, although it features a completely new story. The plot takes place in a mysterious region of the universe called Fluidic Space, where the members of United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire again fight for influence. The players choose one of the factions and establish colonies, gather resources, develop their fleets, and conduct research. Like a proper MMO game, Star Trek: Alien Domain features much combat between the players, including one-on-one skirmishes, raids on the enemy outposts, and great battles between the rivaling factions. In the game you may see many iconic ships from the series and movies, but you also have an option to build your own vessels.

Bravely Second: End Layer is a sequel to the well-received 2012 jRPG developed by Square Enix for Nintendo 3DS. The game is set in the same universe as Bravely Default and takes place a couple of years after the events of the first game in the series. Once again, we will explore Luxendarc, a fantasy world filled with magic and adventures. Magnolia Arch is one of the new playable characters. She is the last representative of the Arch house. Her family was killed by a cruel demon. In terms of gameplay, Bravely Second: End Layer is a classic jRPG. The game has a rich, enormous world, where we can do numerous main and side quests. During our adventures we level up our party and make them more powerful. Bravely Second uses an improved version of the turn-based combat system from the previous game.

A horror-themed action-adventure game allowing us to assume the role of Juliette Waters, a woman whose occupation is recording the voices of spirits. Interestingly enough, Sylvio is a project of an independent developer, Niklas Swanberg. Our heroine travels to an abandoned amusement park, left to decay after a powerful storm had led to a landslide. It quickly turns out that the spirits living in the park are very vicious, and the whole area is under the influence of a mysterious curse. Juliette has to escape the cursed amusement park and discover the truth about the curse, staving off frightening dangers at the same time. The heroin has a few tricks up her sleeve – an unusual shotgun powered by pressurized air, able to propel any object that fits the barrel, and a very sensitive microphone that works on frequencies out of the range of the human ear. Such recordings can be saved and listened to in a customized speed, as the messages from the spirits are sometimes unintelligible. Aside from exploration and occasional combat, Sylvio often introduces puzzles solved in a typical adventure-game manner.

The game takes place in a realm that was almost completely conquered by the titular Sorcerer King. A small group of nations stands on the villain’s way, trying to restore the old order while the evil King is looking for magic crystals that are the key to the complete destruction of the realm. The player can use six characters, each of which has different units, separate development trees and their own spellbook. The gameplay is typical for the genre and the player is tasked with exploring the world, completing various tasks, gathering resources, developing cities, recruiting and training army, fighting in battles with enemies and starting diplomatic relations with other countries. The key to victory is the cooperation with allies – every time the villain defeats a country, the chances for player’s victory drop down drastically.

Given the large number of situations that call for it, the game's story is shaped in real time — depending on your decisions, the game can end in multiple ways. You can also use a time-rewinding device, which allows you to jump back in time and make a different choice, thus changing the story.

The first major DLC for Europa Universalis IV for {PLAT}, the game that came out in mid-2013. The expansion entitled Conquest of Paradise is focused on the conquest of the so-called New World, and in the game we mostly explore both Americas, although we might as well lead their native inhabitants. Leading one of European nations, we can establish diplomatic relations with new tribes and initiate mutually beneficial trade, but a forcible conquest and establishing new overseas colonies is just as good a solution. Leading one of the native peoples of either America, our task will be to try to defend our territory from the newcomers from across the ocean. We can also assume control of a colony that struggles to become independent. The add-on also offers new federation mechanics, unique technologies and buildings for each of over 20 tribes, and a large set of new story events.

A social game in which we help the cat Toro, a Sony mascot, to find 100 friends. During the game, we connect with other players by adding them to the list of friends. Together with them, we can, among other things, expand the garden or fight opponents in the underground. The title works in the free-to-play model.
