RPG, Dungeon Crawler, Fantasy, FPP, Roguelike, Singleplayer, Turn-based.

An old school RPG by 68K Studios, created for mobile devices. The action of Mazes of Karradash takes place in the eponymous city, located in a typical fantasy world which is targeted by dark forces. After a long and uneven fight, the inhabitants of this world learned that the waves of opponents come from the extensive dungeon system under the city. The player’s objective is to lead a group of adventurers to the underground to find and destroy the source of the invasion. Mechanically, this is a typical dungeon crawler production which combines classic elements of the genre with modern ideas. The title features a first-person perspective and focuses on exploration and turn-based combat. There are, however, roguelike elements (permadeath and procedurally-generated levels) and strategy aspects. Between the raids, you also have to regain the city’s previous glamour.

An original platformer developed by Section Studios, inspired by a popular indie Super Meat Boy. In Tinertia, the players assume the role of Weldon – a small, but an uncanny robot who, together with his inseparable rocket launcher, for reasons unknown was imprisoned on a deserted island that is invaded by enemy forces known as ARC. To escape the trap, Weldon has to get through 65 levels, set in seven various environments, facing numerous challenges and seven robot bosses. The game is similar to other 2.5D platforming games – the only difference being that our protagonist doesn’t possess the ability to jump, which is one of the crucial elements in such a genre. During the game, Weldon can move freely around flat surfaces, but in order to jump and counter his opponents, he has to use his invaluable rocket launcher, using it to get a boost in the opposite direction – a technique known in popular online shooters such as Quake or Unreal Tournament as "rocket jump".

This results in around 200 duels, which will let us collect many useful items and weapons. The items we find and the protagonist’s skills that are discovered in the course of the game prove to be helpful in a dangerous and constantly changing environment. Thanks to them, we can reach previously inaccessible places. Hob features original cel-shading graphics.

A mix of an arcade and puzzle game for mobile devices, developed by HyperLiger studio. The gameplay focuses on designing complex labyrinths, filled with blind corners, corridors, traps and monsters. Although we start by constructing simple mazes, we gain access to more interesting elements as we progress through the game, but only if we can afford them. The currency is obtained through beating the maze or from the characters that challenge our creation. We can also unlock new skins for our hero, which – along with the entire visuals – employ pixel art style.

A typical example of a metroidvania game. It was developed by an independent American studio Renegate Kid. The player assumes the role of a lone astronaut who is tasked with exploring the surface of four dangerous planets. Although the player can visit each planet from the beginning of the game (by using a spaceship), it is quickly revealed that, in order to reach hardly accessible places, they must first obtain various upgrades. These provide the protagonist with useful abilities like, for example, diving. Xeodrifter is strongly influenced by 8-bit games from the genre, including the first entries in the Metroid series. However, the developers included some unusual features. There is only one boss in the game – the player is fighting him many times on each planet (after some time the enemy learns new attacks and actions). Some obstacles can be bypassed by jumping between the first plane of the game and the background.

A mobile turn-based strategy game, created by the team responsible for Swap Heroes. The game is distributed in a free-to-play mode with optional microtransactions. In Swap Cops, we take control of a group of futuristic police officers, battling dangerous criminals. Our team can include twelve heroes, each having unique abilities. Similarly to Swap Heroes, the game is focused around turn-based battles with more and more powerful waves of enemies. What makes the title stand out among other turn-based games is the fact that before each round, the player can make one change in the team roster, while the heroes attack and defend themselves on their own. Despite its appearances, this automatization doesn’t make the game easy, as heroes have many unique abilities, with their positioning being an important factor. Additionally, we cannot afford any manpower losses, and each dead police officer forces us to repeat the battle. Swap Cops is a single-player only title, with online rankings being the only substitute for multiplayer mode. The game sports old-school 2D visuals, with a top-down.

A 3-match puzzle game, set in the universe of the famous Magic: The Gathering card game, related to the popular Puzzle Quest series by Infinite Interactive. During the game we take on the role of a Planeswalker, who, through spells and summoned creatures, fights with other adepts of magical arts. Duels come down to skillfully placing at least three elements of the same type in a row. Depending on what symbols we combine together, each match can result in, for example, casting a spell or using an object from the inventory. Magic: The Gathering – Puzzle Quest could not, of course, do without typical elements of a card game. Thus, we collect cards during the game that represent characters, spells, artifacts, etc. Then we use them to build our own deck, which is used during a duel allows us to achieve different effects and employ different combat strategies.

A first-person horror adventure game set in The Secret World’s, a popular MMO title, setting. It was developed by Funcom the studio that, apart from the aforementioned production, created Age of Conan and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, among other things. The plot of The Park takes us to a theme park surrounded with a dense forest, which brings to mind The Secret World's Atlantic Island Park. While playing, we assume the role of a woman named Lorraine whose son, Callum, went missing during an unfortunate visit to that ghastly place. The player’s task is to naturally find the boy and solve the dark secrets of the eponymous park. Sound effects are extremely important in the gameplay, namely the protagonist’s shouts. The heroine incessantly calls her son and the changes in the timbre of her voice indicate her attitude and emotions.

An arcade game by Fixpoint Productions. You play as an inventor, who succeeded in building a jetpack. Before he shares his invention with the world, however, he needs to test it. The gameplay of Piloteer is set in various locations, and it focuses on increasingly complex challenges. Although the control system is relatively easy (virtual buttons on each side of the screen control the particular engines), the protagonist himself is quite immobile, which impacts the difficulty — one bad move may end in a crash. The game is pleasant to the eye — the visuals resemble a collage made from colorful paper, and the distinct ragdoll effect adds a bit of humor.

The Deer God is an original platform game with roguelike and RPG elements, developed by the independent studio Cinopt Studios in cooperation with Crescent Moon Games. We observe the action from a side-scrolling perspective and play as a hunter who was reborn as a deer. From now on, his most important goal is to survive in a hostile environment. He will also have to do some quests, like growing old, achieving a godlike karma balance, or finding every statuette of knowledge. The game's world is generated procedurally, making that task harder, and the fact that many dangers, like predators, traps, or hunters, await our hero does not make it any easier. Additionally, death is permanent. if our hero dies, we have to start the game all over again, unless we have an heir. If we do, we can play as him after we die. We cannot forget about karma, influenced by our deeds. We can play The Deer God alone or with a friend. In co-op, we have to try our best to survive longer than our competitor. The game has colorful pixel art visuals.

A turn-based strategy game by Trion Worlds, focused on battles fought between small mercenary groups. The action of Atlas Reactor is set in a futuristic metropolis in which rich investment fund companies fight for influence. Since their employees avoid getting their hands dirty, they hire trained mercenary groups to do the dirty work for them, and the players are the commanders. Each crew consists of several warriors of different personalities and skills. The game takes place in an unusual turn-based system in which all participants have only 20 seconds to issue orders and then the actions take effect simultaneously. Thanks to this solution, the key to success is not only the ability to react quickly but also to predict our enemy’s moves. The title is designed primarily for multiplayer gaming but it can be played solo against bots.

During the new campaign player will visit well-known places and meet well-known characters. In the Trespasser DLC one will also face a completely new threat caused by the Qunari race. Observant players will notice many hints related to the future of Thedas and what might happen in the planned, fourth installment of the series.
