A tactical turn-based strategy game tackling the subject of modern terrorism, developed by Iron Sight. The Finish dev team was inspired by genre classics such as XCOM or the Jagged Alliance series. The action of End State takes place in Eastern Europe, where numerous gangs and private military organizations freely engage in criminal activities. The player takes command of a mercenary group that has to gather intelligence regarding the terrorist operations in the region, and then track down and eliminate its leaders. Our job is to recruit, train, and equip our employees, and assume direct control of them during each mission. The encounters are turn-based, while each person is limited by the amount of available action points. The key to success is the right use of covers and obstacles, as well as diverse tactics, from coordinated stealth actions, up to risky assaults supported by sniper fire.

Mobile card game in fantasy world, which is in state of chaos after the destruction of Sacred Spire. We play as one of the guardians of the Spire, trying to overcome the situation. Gameplay of Deckstorm: Duel of Guardian focuses on dueling with cards representing characters, spells and items. As usual, completing a deck the fits our play style is highly important. Despite its complex mechanics, gameplay is very fast-paced, mainly due to lack of turns, as all players act at the same time. This results in short, but intensive matches, as players must predict opponent’s plays rather than counter them. Additionally, the game offers an extensive card development system inspired by RPG titles. Unsurprisingly, single player campaign acts as prologue to multiplayer experience.

The 12th expansion for 2012’s grand strategy game by Paradox Interactive, Crusader Kings II. In The Reaper’s Due, the developers focused on historical epidemics such as the Black Death which was the plague that gathered a bloody harvest in 13th century Europe. Therefore, the add-on introduces several new mechanics. The most important ones are obviously diseases that spread throughout the map of the continent. They have a negative influence on, among other things, our army’s numbers as well as finances. The latter can be replenished by forcing large dividends on prosperous provinces that pay us in gold and workforce. We can protect our people from diseases, though, thanks to hospitals and doctors who have access to the latest medical knowledge but their presence not always can prevent an epidemic. Apart from the aforementioned novelties, the gameplay is traditionally enriched by new event chains.

At the beginning of the game, players choose one of these and create their avatar, which will then be developed throughout the game. The recipe of the duels is similar to most popular MOBA games; some NPCs help the player during battles as they divert enemies from attacking player’s defense towers. A curious addition to the gameplay is the fact that the gameworld exists permanently, in the sense that – contrary to other games – it constantly changes even after a match ends. As in any respectable MMO, here we can join guilds, forge alliances and take part in battles for control over a given territory. The award for this are different kinds of loot and powerful character upgrades.

Conversations with his companions and the dark lord's taunts revive his memories in the form of flashbacks, during which you explore varied environments, talk to NPCs, and complete main story quests as well as side quests. During the game, your party participates in many turn-based battles. The Longest Five Minutes features colorful pixel-art visuals, based on the classic jRPGs.

RPG, Fantasy, jRPG, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, TPP, Turn-based.

A continuation to a jRPG bearing the same title. The game is part of a larger universe known from the The Legend of Heroes series. Trails of Cold Steel II begins a month after the events depicted in the first installment. The civil war in Erebonia began for good. Rean's goals are to find the remaining students from the Seventh Grade, as well as to put an end to the bloody conflict, which has torn the protagonist's native country apart. Although the experience is based on the gameplay formula of the previous installment, the creators decided to introduce a few changes. The so-called Tactical Link System, which provided new combos and other tactical abilities used in conjunction with other characters with whom the protagonist has established relationships, appears in this game in the company of the new feature - Overdrive Mode - which allows the linked team-members to continuously execute attacks during even up to 3 turns in a row. Exploration was improved as well - the player traverses the extensive locations on foot, aboard a customizable airship, on horseback, or by a motorcycle. Furthermore, the protagonist can recruit allies from among the NPCs scattered throughout the game world. The game features decent-quality graphics inspired by manga style.
