Might & Magic: Heroes Online is a browser game and a part of the highly popular strategic game franchise created in 1995 by Jon van Caneghem and New World Computing. The game was developed by Blue Byte Software, creators of The Settlers saga, responsible for the browser versions of various popular games (i.e. The Settlers, Anno, or Silent Hunter). In terms of the plot, Heroes Online continues the story from the last two big games of the series. In the fantasy world of Ashan, two opposing factions fight for power. Each of them has an army made of skilled warriors of different races and classes. There are two basic aspects to the gameplay: real time world exploration, where we also gather resources and recruit our army, and the turn-based tactical battles that take place on hexagonal battlefields. Unlike the other browser games, Might & Magic: Heroes Online's visuals are on rather high level, and not far behind what can be seen in the series' main games.

A mech simulator which is the debut production of the independent developer Bomb Dog Studios. The action of the game takes place in a distant future, where battlefields are dominated by huge mechs. The game offers an extensive single player campaign containing different tasks that can also be played with the assistance of other players. The gameplay is focused around combat. Our mechs are somewhat slow, so the key to success is to prepare good tactics and make use of the vantage points and land formations around the map. Additionally, M.A.V. contains a wide range of options focused around the creation and modification of mechs. We can choose from ready-made parts, as well as decide upon different components – for example, the player can install a pre-made sniper rifle model or enter the garage and decide upon the type of barrel, clip, and scope on their own.

A hilarious cRPG with cartoonish graphics, developed by an independent Canadian studio - Eden Industries. The player assumes the role of the world's vice-president. Having won the elections, the protagonist returns to their hometown and discovers that the neighbouring forests are filled with bizzare creatures that came into being as a result of mysterious genetic experiments. With help of the local community, the politician decides to discover who is behind all of this and tries to stop the madness. The player can recruit practically every character they encounter - among them, one will find bakers, teachers, homeless or waiters. Such characters will be gaining experience throughout the game, and once the player decides to exclude them from their team, they return to their posts in order to provide the player with better shops, as well as new, useful items. This system encourages the player to experiment and to regularly replace particular team-members, especially because the main story is relatively short.

A western online shooter that makes the player act as outlaw gunslingers and take part in fights at the Wild West scenery. Developers from Switchblade Monkeys studio prepared six different characters with unique skills and equipment, including guns. Heroes are also proficient at melee combat, which further increases their battle potential. Combined with specific design of maps – filled with covers and stashes, and shown from top down view – it gives the game a very tactical feeling, magnified by features like the need to lay suppressing fire. There are several game modes to choose from, including the classic deathmatch, its team variant and duels at noon. Winning allows the player to upgrade their characters’ skills and give them access to better equipment. As far as audiovisuals go, creators of Secret Ponchos aimed at slightly humorous style known from spaghetti western movies.

During the game we can find numerous items, from weapons, through outfits, and up to derelict wrecks that can be renovated and used as a means of transport. However, the game’s main highlight is an incredibly extensive crafting system, which allows us to build equipment, as well as many furniture and other elements, such as lamps, chairs, or even walls or fences. Alas, despite our efforts, the stronghold has been attack and partially destroyed. Panic and chaos erupted on its streets, leading to a civil war. What’s worse, a mysterious group of schemers are preparing to implement their dastardly plan with the intent of killing the majority of citizens. Our task is to thwart it, of course. Mechanics-wise, the title does not significantly deviate from the first installment of the series, offering a classical isometric view, several character classes, a turn-based combat system, and tens of primary and secondary quests during which we will face various kinds of enemies.

The missions come down to discreet elimination of our target using a set of distinctive gadgets, including guns, chloroform, remote explosives, or the deadly garrote. To complete the objectives the player is required to careful analyze the situation and plan his actions. HD Trilogy pack consists of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money. All of them have been thoroughly reworked, now offering HD visuals as well as a full set of achievements to unlock.

Heavy Gear Assault picks up one of the many plot threads stored inside the universe, and focuses on the struggle between two factions inhabiting the opposite poles of Terra Nova. In view of the fact that Heavy Gear mechs aren’t that large as the ones known from the MechWarrior series, the battles are more dynamic, and reflex-oriented.
