Among the opponents there are ones that are many times the size of the protagonists. The key to success lies in taking advantage of the unique skills of selected character. The game can be played alone, but it was designed with cooperation mode for up to four players in mind. The title features graphics that resemble 16-bit genre classics.

The player can participate in five different contests combining the rules of some popular sport disciplines with the necessity to keep up with the rhythm of music. Gobble Golf is a variation on golf, Net Ball on the other hand, is a modified version of tennis. Rhythm Racket places the player in the role of the goalkeeper in order to prevent the opponent from scoring. In Buddy Ball, the player's job is to send back the ball played by a random opponent, and as for Whacky Bat, it is based loosely on the classic baseball.

As a result, the aforementioned animals can put their skills to the test mainly while playing football, doing sumo wrestling, or participating in competitions based on the rules of the popular Capture the Flag mode. What makes the game stand out among other similar titles, is that an advanced physics engine produces unusual behavior of particular animals. Each animal-contestant has an extraordinarily long neck, which makes it harder to move around the arenas. Alongside progression, the player unlocks new game modes, competitors, as well as pieces of clothing for them.

There are bases of both sides on the map – destroying opponent’s command center is one of the ways for achieving victory. Another way is to take over all control points. There are radar stations on the battlefields, conquering them enables the player to check enemy movement. There are research structures as well - they enable the player to upgrade their tank faster.

The player assumes the role of one such hunter - the game developed by Pixel Perfex offers the players several naval vessels (more can be unlocked throughout the game) equipped with unique weapons. Throughout diverse locations, one has to hunt multiple creatures, including both smaller ones and those much larger than a submarine. Occasionally, the player can participate in one of nine special events. Earth Atlantis delivers memorable visuals, featuring style inspired by Medieval sketches.

The action is shown from a top-down perspective and concentrates on traveling through the space and fighting enemies, including giant bosses. The game features a large variety of weapons and the possibility to improve equipment with special runic modifiers. Since the game is a roguelike, dying is permanent and the levels are procedurally generated.

This means that a player has to come up with tactics before each match, change the players, purchase and sell players, tend to the club’s budget, and use the help offered by the talent hunters. All this makes Football Manager Mobile 2018 a much more dynamic game, perfect for e.g. a break during the work; but it also offers many possibilities, which make the game one of the most advanced applications available on the market. The game has been published by Sega and is available at a much smaller price than Football Manager 2018 and Football Manager Touch 2018.

On their adventure, the player gets to meet sixteen characters from the Roman pantheon, led by Vulcan - the god's blacksmith. Consecutive parts of the story are unraveled before the player through multiple cutscenes. The gameplay revolves around looking for particular items on colorful and detailed pictures. The player also has to complete numerous mini-games and logic puzzles. The game delivers polished and detailed visuals.

When it comes to mechanics, My Eyes on You is a third-person perspective action game in which the player is exploring mysterious streets and suburbs of a neo-noir Chicago. The game features stealth elements – Jordan must hide from enemies and sneak past them. What’s interesting, the protagonist has various illnesses – in stressful situations his mind can create hallucinations.

Super ComboMan: Smash Edition offers exclusively a single-player experience. The gameplay involves a kind of a race against time, as the meals have to be ready before the zombies reach you. In addition to the more common opponents, sometimes you face enormous boss enemies, who cannot be cured with a single meal. PixelJunk VR Dead Hungry requires both a VR headset and motion controllers. The game features a slightly cartoonish visuals, which manages to hide the flaws in the level of detail of the enemies and the surroundings.

It takes place in a post-apocalyptic reality filled with ruins of cities and radiation-burned deserts. The player assumes the role of a warrior who knows a secret martial art that enables him to destroy the bodies of his enemies from the inside. The campaign concentrates on the city of Eden and its surroundings. The game world is open and in addition to the main story missions it features many optional side missions and various minigames. The gameplay focuses mostly on melee combat based on an advanced system that enables the player to perform various attacks and combos. All of that is presented by using a cartoonish stylization that is very similar to what was shown in the comic.

Everything has to be balanced in order to properly manage income and costs. The game offers a single player campaign comprising separate scenarios with particular tasks to accomplish, as well as a free mode, in which one can develop their farm without any limitations or predefined assignments.

During the game, the player does not control the characters directly and does not explore the locations - their role is limited to selecting particular dialog options. These choices determine the story’s direction (some decisions might result in the deaths of certain key characters) and ending. The game delivers high-quality visuals - the developers have based their game on the Unreal Engine 4 technology. The player is bound to appreciate the detailed character models and their rich animations.

The game offers twelve cars (urban vehicles, heavy off-road cars, and sport rides), and the player participates in insane and dynamic racing events taking place on 36 tracks filled with obstacles and jumps. Apart from the necessity to get familiar with each track, victory is achieved through making a good use of tools that can make winning harder for the opponents, such as cannons or missile launchers. Collecting the power-ups scattered throughout the track is an important aspect as well, as they can instantly fix one's ride or refill the ammunition. Crashday offers seven kinds of competitions, namely Race, Wrecking Match, Stunt Mode, Hold The Flag, Pass The Bomb, Bomb Run and Test Drive. These are complemented by a complex track editor (one can share tracks they have created with others via Steam Workshop), and a multiplayer mode, which gives an opportunity to compete against up to seven players. Those who prefer the single player experience can launch the career mode, special challenges and single races. Compared to the original version, the game offers improved visuals. As in the original Crashday, competition is intensified through listening to tracks by such musicians as Lowbuz, Peter Struck or Pencilcase.

The player's main goal however, is to build a good team that is capable of winning both in the league and during the most important championships. In order to achieve this, the player has to make use of experts that help in training the footballers, choose tactics before matches, acquire new players, sell redundant ones, prepare for problems (for instance, one of the key players gets injured), and keep the funding-related issues in mind. In Football Manager 2018, one can lead one of 2500 clubs with their origins in 50 countries. This gives over 600 thousand footballers and assistants.

Your duties include not only erecting new buildings, where you can invite stars and idols, but also managing individual concerts, running advertising campaigns and securing the budget (for example for the event’s security) by introducing new laws. Expanding the festival area results in a better show and makes it possible to hold more people, which translates to more profit coming onto your virtual account. The last innovation left to mention, of those introduced by Cities: Skylines - Concerts, is Live, a new radio station devoted strictly to music.

Even though the battlefields are mostly filled with hordes of minor adversaries, the player is bound to encounter bosses much more powerful than the rest of the enemies. Hellgate VR has been designed exclusively for Virtual Reality headgear - during the game, one can freely move around the environment and look around by moving their head. The game has been based on Unreal Engine 4, which allowed the developers to deliver high-quality visuals. Moreover, the grim atmosphere of the game is well-complemented with poor lighting and dark colors of the visited locations.

A game developed by an indie studio, GUTS Department, that combines elements of metroidvania and tower defense. The game is set in a fantasy world where the only things left by a technologically advanced civilizations are ruins and powerful artifacts. The main characters, a mechanic called Bart and his granddaughter Clu, declare a war on the Empire – in order to end its hegemony they embark on a journey to find a legendary weapon called the Aegis. During this adventure full of dangers they have to not only visit various locations and avoid countless traps but also solve puzzles (which often require their cooperation – we can switch between the characters freely) and fight with enemies. Sometimes, they have to defend places, characters and objects from incoming waves of enemies – your success in those battles depends on using Bart's abilities that allow him to construct useful items, and making a good use of Clu's skills both in combat and placing traps. During the game we get new equipment and upgrade the already owned one. This allows us to reach previously unavailable places and eliminate increasingly bigger and more dangerous enemies. Aegis Defenders can be played alone or with another player. The developers were inspired by the first few installments in The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy series, which is reflected by the game's pixel-art graphics.

You can use e.g. pistols, machine guns, shotguns, explosives and grenades. There are also various power-ups to use. It's worth noting that you earn points by shooting and the faster you eliminate the fruits, the higher your score. The game features pleasant visuals, with spectacular fruit-splattering effects.

Prime Arena is an online battle game by Russian studio Nival. The production utilizes a free-to-play model with microtransactions and is a blend of two genres: MOBA and battle royale. The influence of the first one is mostly seen in the bird's eye point of view, the presence of AI-controlled units, and a large gallery of playable characters with unique characteristics and special abilities. The gameplay, however, was based on battle royale productions. The battle goes on until there is only one player remaining, making all alliances temporary. Moreover, the battle arena shrinks over time, and you die when you end up outside. This makes the battles more dynamic, as when the fight's end draws near, a small group of players only has a little bit of space available.
