Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin introduces a new character that can join our party—an elven assassin named Tallis who is modeled after and voiced by Felicia Day. With her appearance, the player has an opportunity to take part in a new adventure that focuses on a magic relict called the Heart of the Many. The heroes have to find this rare item, which is no small task since it was apparently hidden in an Orlaisian baron’s estate. Mark of the Assassin allows the players to visit a new outside of Kirkwall, encounter new enemies, and make use of an expanded weapon arsenal, among other things. Gameplay-wise, Mark of the Assassin bases on the solutions of the vanilla Dragon Age II, so it is still a real-time party-based RPG with active pause.

Based on the set of rules taken from the Shadowrun role-playing system, Shadowrun Chronicles: Boston Lockdown is an online turn-based strategy developed by Cliffhanger Productions, also known for Jagged Alliance Online. The game takes you to a cyberpunk world torn by conflicts, where elements of science fiction and fantasy coexist. Player-controlled characters – men and women raised in the underground – take on various dangerous missions, which feature both stealthy infiltration as well as open combat. Gameplay consists of two layers. As for the missions, they are presented in the isometric view, like it was in the Jagged Alliance series, and while doing them you make use of a variety of character skills offered by special cybernetic implants. Equally much time the player spends on the city map, where he gathers the necessary intel and prepares for the next job. In the planning phase you can e.g. bribe guards, meet informants, or acquire building schematics.

Its story is set in a fantasy world inhabited by many mythical creatures, with us taking the role of a young wizard, who, after the death of his mentor, decides to follow in his footsteps. The objective of the game is to gather enough magical energy to bring back peace to the lands ravaged by internal conflicts of mages. During each mission we are given our own castle and a unique means of transport in the form of a flying carpet. The gameplay takes place in fully three-dimensional environment and concentrates on fighting enemies by using 20 different offensive and defensive spells. There are also some supporting incantations, e.g. summoning an army of skeletons or teleporting back to our stronghold to regain energy.
