We are accompanied by many characters with different abilities in our adventures and we can switch between them anytime we want to. Every once in a while we will also play as the titular Dana. Her parts of the game are more riddle-oriented.

Another incarnation of a minimalistic real-time strategy with RPG elements, developed by an independent studio called noio. Like in the original Kingdom for PC Windows and mobile devices, in Kingdom: Two Crowns, the player assumes the role of a king tasked with taking care of his loyal subjects and providing for them. Unlike the original release, in Kingdom: Two Crowns the player can enjoy both single player and cooperative game modes. During the game, one observes the action from the side perspective. Gameplay revolves around two main aspects – the first one being exploration (during which one can acquire gold they can give to the encountered settlers), while the second one focuses on expanding the settlement by erecting production buildings, creating tools for the settlers, and building diverse fortifications, which prove useful after dusk. During the night, one’s domain is attacked by vicious trolls and the player has to pay careful attention to their crown, because when it falls into enemy hands, the game is over. Luckily, the player can unlock numerous perks on their adventures to stand a better chance against the increasingly powerful foes. The game features simple, yet pleasing pixel-art visuals.

In each one, we can fish in various ways and encounter different kind of fish that require us to adopt the right approach and equipment. Virtual fishermen have a wide range of rods, reels, hooks, baits, and other items at their disposal. The gameplay is made more attractive by dynamic weather conditions and the day-and-night cycle, which, in combination with realistic water physics, makes fishing more varied and unpredictable. The game features an extensive multiplayer mode and an editor that lets us create our dream fishery.

As a result, we can relive the events that took place after the conclusion of the Naruto Shippuden series, and take control of completely new characters, which are a part of the next generation of ninja warriors (many of them are the children of the well-known heroes). The expansion doesn’t change the game mechanics in any way, focusing on introducing a new storyline and previously unknown characters such as titular Boruto (son of Naruto) or Sarada (daughter of Sasuke and Sakura). Aside from that, the Hidden Leaf Village received new locations to explore.

Mechanics-wise, the title doesn’t deviate from the typical formula of the series. The action is presented from the third-person perspective. At the heart of the gameplay is elimination of enemies with the use of a varied weapons arsenal. Our targets are, first and foremost, all kinds of oversized insects, and the key to success is to devise the right tactic. For exterminating enemy forces, we are awarded points that can be then spent on various bonuses. Compared to the previous installment of the series, the modernized graphics are a breath of fresh air. Moreover, the enemies on the screen are more numerous than ever before.

The action of the game is set more or less in the modern times, when the Earth falls victim to an invasion of aliens who want to exterminate all humans. The player assumes the role of an immortal superhero exhibiting supernatural abilities. They are tasked with facing the alien aggressors. Players observe the action from the first-person perspective, and the gameplay revolves around the exploration of the open world, completing various missions, and fighting hordes of enemies. On their way, the players are bound to encounter armed spaceships, as well as more powerful mechanical walkers. Due to his supernatural strength, the main protagonist can demolish the city infrastructure, hover in mid-air, and fly faster than the speed of light. The game is compatible with the Virtual Reality headgear; however, it is not necessary in order to play Megaton Rainfall.

The fourth installment in the legendary beat ‘em up series, developed by Arc System Works. The development was supported by the persons responsible for the cult-classic previous installments of the series, including Takaomi Kaneko, Yoshihisa Kishimoto, Koji Ogata, and Kazunaka Yamane. Similarly to the previous installments of the Double Dragon series, the gameplay focuses on traversing 2D locations and eliminating hordes of approaching opponents. Our means of survival include punches and kicks, as well as numerous melee weapons, with each level ending in a boss fight that requires much more effort from the player. Double Dragon IV received a story mode that can be completed alone, or with the help of another player. Completing the campaign unlocks the Tower Mode, involving the climb on the progressively higher levels of the titular tower, and a 2P Duel Mode, focusing on online 1v1 battes. The game is characterized by simple, pixel-art visuals, which take the player back to the previous installments of the series, known for popularizing the beat ‘em up genre.

A complete edition of the action RPG called Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms, which comprises both the first part of the story and the second chapter, which initially was intended to be available in the form of a free (but not standalone) DLC. In Shadows: Awakening, the player gets to explore a fantasy world of Kingdoms of Heresy, which is engulfed in chaos soon after the demons known as Devourers have taken control of the celestial bodies of the murdered members of Penta Nera. Shortly after, the demons started a war for power and immortality posing a threat to the entire world. One of the Devourers differs from his kin - he can consume not one but many souls, thus he is tasked with assembling a team of heroes and stopping the threat. The developers from Games Farm have given the players fifteen characters, diversified in terms of their specialties, combat skills, and personalities. One can choose three protagonists out of the aforementioned group - on their journey, the player can switch between the chosen characters at any given moment. Moreover, one can also assume the role of the Devourer and travel to the alternate dimension inhabited by monsters. During the game, one gets to explore diverse locations, fight numerous foes, and complete diverse quests (both story-related and side quests). As the story progresses, one's characters level up and develop their combat potential by acquiring increasingly powerful pieces of equipment.
