A direct sequel to Painkiller, the popular first-person shooter from 2004. In contrast to the original, the production wasn’t developed by the Poland-based studio People Can Fly but Mindware Studios, a Czech studio. We don’t assume the role of Daniel Garner, the protagonist of the prequel either, although the events partly take place before his lone crusade. At the core of Painkiller: Overdose is a single player campaign that consists of sixteen levels. The gameplay formula is still based on fighting hordes of hellish enemies whom we eliminate with the use of a sophisticated arsenal, which was expanded with the addition of six new weapons. Moreover, the title features new enemies – now there are about 40 kinds of them – and bosses. Furthermore, an extensive multiplayer modes, compatible with maps and modes from the original Painkiller, was developed for the purposes of the game.

The second official expansion pack for the third installment in a series of turn-based strategy games developed by Sid Meier and his new studio Firaxis Games. The expansion gives an opportunity to take part in the largest conquests recorded so far by the human history (in Mesopotamia or America for example). In each of the eight in-game campaigns, the player assumes control over one of new nations (the Maya and the Sumerians mainly) - those have their own leaders, unique units, technologies, as well as special abilities and features. As usual, the player leads the civilization of their choice to glory through taking care of its economic, cultural and military development. Furthermore, the game was enriched with a set of additional elements, including new victory conditions, wonders, environmental objects, resources, catastrophes, natural disasters, buildings, city upgrades, diplomatic options and types of government. What's more, Sid Meier's Civilization III: Conquests offers play-by-email sessions. Both the map and scenario editors were improved.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Remastered is a remaster of the cult FPP shooter, developed by Night Dive. Many changes were made in the game: visuals, interface, gameplay mechanics, etc. The game now runs on Kex Engine 3.4, the enemies' A.I. was improved (now they can attack in groups and run away if required) and so was the character's movement (i.e. the hero can now climb onto some of the environmental elements). Quicksave option was also implemented, and the possibility to teleport back to the portal we have already discovered. The core of the game in Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Remastered remains the same. This is still a fine FPS where we play as Joshua Fireseed, the dinosaur hunter, and our goal is to defeat the Primagen. The game offers a single player campaign and a competitive multiplayer mode.

Fighters can use various fighting styles, so it is possible to create specialized gladiators. Finding the balance between expenses and earnings is the key to success, and taking advantage of a political situation and sympathy of influential people helps as well. Domina offers various types of battles – some based on fair duels, others made to hinder our warriors as much as possible. All of this is presented with pixel-art visuals, complemented by a fitting soundtrack.

The production features a high level of difficulty and 2D visuals based on classic 16-bit games.

F1 2017 is another installment of the popular formula one simulator series from Codemasters Software. The game introduces many changes and improvements in comparison to the previous installment of the series. The title features a completely new plot, in which the player learns about the fate of a mother who travels with her child through a fantasy world. The gameplay mechanics are based on the ones employed in the first entry in the series – the player is tasked with guiding both characters from one place to another, frequently by manipulating the environment, playing with perspective or by creating optical illusions. It is worth mentioning that the presence of two characters makes solving riddles in Monument Valley 2 slightly different than previously. Despite that, the users that played the previous game should feel familiar in the new entry. The title features high-quality graphics inspired by the works of M.C. Escher.

Somerville is a work by Jumpship, a studio founded by Dino Patti, i.e. the co-creator of two bestselling games Inside and Limbo. The game is characterized by original, dark, but also slightly cartoonish art style, designed by Chris Olsen - a film animator who participated in the works on such pictures as Skyfall and Thor. In Somerville you observe the events from the side. Gameplay is based on traversing a string of in-game levels and solving puzzles – there's also a plenty of arcade challenges and stealth-action sequences, in which you must sneak past enemy eyes. From time to time you also get to shoot some aggressive aliens.

Another installment in a series of sports games dedicated to wrestling and released annually by 2K Games. The players take on the roles of professional wrestlers from NXT and WWE leagues, and take part in encounters in the ring. A series of improvements were introduced into the combat system - above all, the wrestlers can perform more moves now. Fighting is not all about exchange of attacks, as the player often brings the opponent down, throws them at the mat, or even out of the ring, in order to continue the fight closer to the audience or in the backstage. Among the available wrestlers, one will find Seth Rollins (depicted on the game's cover), Chris Jericho, Andre The Giant, John Cena, The Rock or the Bella sisters. WWE 2K18 offers plenty of game modes, both single player and multiplayer ones. MyCareer is the most important of them, as the player leads a wrestler of their choice to fame and money through subsequent victories.
