An unconventional action game developed by the American iNKstories studio, focused on The Iranian Revolution - the events of 1979 that led to the overthrow of the dictatorial regime of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in Iran. 1979 Revolution is set in an open-world environment, reminiscent of subsequent installments in the Grand Theft Auto series. During the game we are given a chance to play as several independent characters, and it was the intention of the developer to present historical events from several contrasting points of view and to show moral controversy concerning the ongoing revolution. Depending on which character we control at the moment, the game features slightly different mechanics. This is due to the fact that some protagonists led by us specialize in combat, while others have to rely on negotiation skills, stealth, or even trade.

An arcade fighting game developed by Bandai Namco. It is the second installment in the subseries focusing on fights 2vs2. The plot is non-canonical here, serving the purpose of the background for spectacular fighting. The game features over fifty well-known fighters participating in the titular tournament. The player can change both their appearances and weapons to one's liking. Before the fight begins, the player selects two combatants to be used interchangeably. The second installment of the Tag Tournament subseries improves and expands the tag mechanics, allowing the player to perform special attacks, such as complex combos or throws executed by two fighters together. Interactive elements of the in-game arenas can be used in combat as well, by hitting the opponent's head against a wall for example. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 offers regular game modes, including Tutorial, Training, as well as Versus and Arcade. Apart from the solo experience, the game features multiplayer competition for up to four players.

Third entry in the highly-rated Disciples series, started in 1999 by the Strategy First studio. The new game comes not only with a new publisher, but also a new producer – a rather unknown studio of .dat, previously part of Akella corporation. Once again we are taken to the universe of Nevendaar, where the forces of good and evil clash. The developers prepared three playable factions: we can play as Empire, Legions of the Damned or Elven Alliance. The gameplay itself remained the same as in previous games – we still get a turn-based strategy resembling the cult-classic Heroes of Might and Magic series. There are some RPG features implemented though, and battles have been modified (e.g. by adding the option of moving our troops). The most obvious novelty is a transition to full 3D graphics, thanks to the proprietary Virtual Dream engine.

Halo Wars: The Definitive Edition is a spin-off of the popular shooter game series Halo, and it's set 20 years before the events of the first installment, when humanity fights against the Covenant Empire, which considers our kind to be an insult to their gods and species. You assume the lead of the crew of a space cruiser, sent to the planet Harvest to investigate enemy activity. There it turns out that the humanity's foes have discovered a powerful artifact, which can turn the tide of the war. The mechanics of the remastered edition do not differ much from the original ones. However, the production features enhanced visuals in HD and better textures. The online options of the game have also been expanded.

Zombie Night Terror is an old-school action game with elements of strategy, developed by French studio NoClip. Players become the brains of a zombie apocalypse of the purest form, and their task is to spread the epidemic across the whole world. The main issue is the intelligence of our subjects, or rather the complete lack of it. The mechanics of gameplay in Zombie Terror are inspired by a cult classic series called Lemmings. The zombies, should they be left unattended, will saunter on the streets and fall into traps left by the humans fighting for survival. The undead can, however, evolve and mutate if they consume enough human DNA, which renders them able to follow simple orders and attack harmless individuals in many different ways. The game features 40 levels of increasing difficulty, in which the players have to lead their army across the given location, and perform a slaughter on people encountered on the way.

A third-person action game which can be called a jealous girl simulator, developed by an independent designer by the nickname of YandereDev. The title is a term borrowed from Japanese pop culture, meaning a type of personality: such person seems nice and harmless at the first glance but with time shows their alternate, brutal aspect. In Yandere Simulation, we assume the role of a seemingly ordinary high school student who is madly in love with a boy. Mad with love, the protagonist decides not to let any other female colleague romantically pursue him at any cost, and to do so, she is willing to go as far as murder. Mechanics-wise, it is a stealth game with limited dating simulation elements. What deserves attention is the large freedom in choosing the way to achieve a goal. Even though murder is the easiest way to get rid of competition, we can also use more sophisticated methods.

A grotesque strategy game from the developers responsible for such curious projects as Square Brawl and Clustertruck. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator allows the players to control an army of colored humanoids. We spend our money on infantry, archers, pikemen, or siege machines, such as ballistae and catapults. Each battle begins with a planning phase where we can set the formation and tactics employed by our forces, and then watch the results of these decisions in a three-dimensional environment. The physics engine implemented in the game is one of its highlights – the troops’ animations and ragdoll effects, as well as projectile trajectories and impacts are calculated on the fly, creating spectacular, or more often, funny situations. Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is characterized by its sterile visuals – angular character models and objects are coated with uniform, very simple textures, which emphasizes the absurdity of the game.

An improved edition of Hard Reset - a cyberpunk first-person shooter developed by Flying Wild Hog (the creators of the successful Shadow Warrior remake). Although the original game (2011) was released exclusively for PCs, Hard Reset: Redux received console versions for the eighth generation of hardware as well. The game offers a journey to a grim world of the future, when the Earth has been almost entirely dominated by merciless robots who have devastated the planet. The player takes on the role of Major Fletcher, a war veteran with a task of defending the last remaining human outpost. The game offers fast-paced action and brutal combat sequences involving both regular enemies and powerful bosses. The player makes use of various types of futuristic firearms and a completely new weapon known as cyber-katana. What is new as well, is the ability to perform a quick dodge, which is useful while confronting larger groups of enemies. In addition to the original contents, Hard Reset: Redux features the Exile DLC expansion. The game offers both a story-based campaign and a survival mode, but the latter lacks the multiplayer component. The game utilizes the newest version of the RoadHog engine. As a result, it offers both better lighting and special effects, as well as faster loading time.

A first-person horror with RPG elements set in science fiction reality, and a debut production for the Russian Civil Savages studio. The spaceship on board of which the action takes place fell into a trap set by a hostile alien race. However, it seems that it might not have been an accident, and one of your crewmates may be behind the whole plot. The fact that you are the only healthy organism among the infected crew makes the puzzles even more difficult to solve. Dispatcher combines modern survival horror mechanics with the atmosphere of classic SF films from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. You do not get to use any weapons, so in order to survive you have to avoid open confrontations, move stealthily and flee from the danger. There are six character classes, each of them having unique strengths and weaknesses. What is interesting, also our enemies evolve in the course of the game.

Sometimes, you have to decide whose daily rations should be reduced, sometimes how to deal with problems at hand, such as a cockroach infestation. A standalone expansion for Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars, a real-time strategy game set in the 19th-century Europe developed by GSC Game World. Apart from six playable nations that were present in the vanilla game, the expansion offers three new ones: Spain, Duchy of Warsaw, and Confederation of the Rhine. The title also features new buildings and units, four campaigns, ten battlefields, three historical battles (including 1812’s Battle of Borodino and 1815’s Battle of Waterloo that annihilated Napoleon’s army) as well as six missions in the skirmish mode. The main highlight of the production is the extensive strategic mode called Battle for Europe in which participants fight for complete domination on the Old Continent. Apart from the single player content, Cossacks II: Battle for Europe offers an expanded multiplayer mode where we can lead new playable nations on several new maps.
