Fifteen years have passed since the Thugtown city massacre. Mysterious affairs from the past have forced our protagonist to go to Europe, right in the middle of the Second World War. There, we will have to deal with our problems in the most traditional way – killing everything and everyone in our way. Our job is to get from one end of the map to another, eliminating our enemies along the way. We will be facing gangsters, soldiers, zombies, and mutants. Vinnie’s skills and abilities come in handy when doing our job. He can use all sorts of firearms (shotguns, riffles, pistols, etc.), do a double jump, kick, roll, or use two guns at the same time. We can also use elements of the environment to eliminate our enemies.

An action-adventure survival horror. The game is the first title developed by Invader Studios and takes place during the late nineties. The story is filled with references to nineties’ pop culture and it is presented from the perspective of several playable characters, including a special forces soldier whose family is imprisoned in a city controlled by monsters. During the game the player travels through very dangerous locations, explores, fights and occasionally solves riddles. The title was developed mostly for genre veterans and it has high difficulty level – each bullet found during the exploration counts. In addition to that, the possibility to save the game is very limited. What’s interesting, Daymore: 1998 is a project that evolved from the cancelled Resident Evil 2 Reborn – the developers decided to use their work to create their own, commercial project.

Gameplay mechanics are very much similar to those we will find in FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer series. We lead a football team and play more and more matches. We will be responsible for football transfers, developing the skills of our players, and healing their injuries. Matches are accompanied by a commentary similar to that from TV sports broadcasts. The game offers both single player and multiplayer modes. Real Football 2017 has quite good 3D visuals. We can change the camera angle during the matches and while watching replays.

An economic strategy developed by the independent team at DolphinBarn studio. The players' task is to manage a gladiator school during the golden age of Roman Empire. They buy new warriors, prepare their training, and provide them with proper equipment (weapons, armor) to finally put them on the arena. Fighters can use various fighting styles, so it is possible to create specialized gladiators. Finding the balance between expenses and earnings is the key to success, and taking advantage of a political situation and sympathy of influential people helps as well. Domina offers various types of battles – some based on fair duels, others made to hinder our warriors as much as possible. All of this is presented with pixel-art visuals, complemented by a fitting soundtrack.

An arcade action game based on the license of a popular TV series bearing the same title. The player once again assumes the role of Ben Tennyson - the protagonist has to face the forces of evil threatening the entire world. Ben is not alone however, as both cousin Gwen and grandfather Max support him on his quest. Similar to previous installments of the series, Ben 10 is played from a third-person view. The player traverses diverse locations, jumps across platforms, avoids various threats, solves simple environmental puzzles and fights foes that appeared in the original TV series. In combat, Ben makes use of the special Omnitrix device, which enables him to shapeshift into the forms of ten creatures from other planets - in so doing, the protagonist gains the advantage over their enemies. Juggling quick, light attacks and slower but stronger strikes skilfully is also crucial for victory, apart from linking attacks into spectacular combos. The game comes with simple visuals inspired by the TV original in terms of the style - the creators made use of cel-shading technique in the production process.
