Two-dimensional platformer developed by the team at Way Forward Technologies. The game is another entry in a series that originally launched in 2002 on Game Boy Color. The story of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero takes place in fairy tale-like land, inspired by the One Thousand and One Nights. A half-genie, half-human heroine takes off to a different dimension to fight against a recklessly freed ancient evil. Gameplay is based on the Castlevania and Metroid series, so it comes down to exploration, solving puzzles and fighting enemies, including challenging bosses. Heroine's main weapons are her incredibly strong hair and the ability to change into magical beasts by performing certain dancing moves. As we progress our protagonist gathers experience points, which she uses to unlock more skills – namely, changing into new beasts.

The aim of the game is to get out of the dangerous labyrinth of corridors and take revenge on the vendor, as well as gain the already mentioned, valuable headgear.

Three-dimensional platformer for the whole family developed by Nintendo. Yoshi’s Wooly World is set in a world made of yarn. We received a classic platformer in 2.5D, in which our hero is followed by running eggs, which can be shot at various targets or parts of scenery. Thanks to the world being made of yarn, many objects can be unraveled to unlock new paths and secrets. Yoshi’s Wooly World offers a cooperation mode for two players. Each three-dimensional location is made of virtual yarn, and every character resembles a handcrafted puppet filled with cotton.

FRU is a simple platformer developed by Thorough Games studio with Kinect move controller in mind. The players lead a small, mustached protagonist through around a dozen of diverse levels, located in several different worlds. The point of the game is that the world needs to be discovered by means of actual gestures of the player, directed to the console via the Kinect controller. By assuming the right body position, the player's "shadow" establishes a path which the protagonist follows. Special gestures allow a set of additional maneuvers such as directly defining the destination, or creating a special virtual bridge. Apart from the singleplayer, FRU also offers the ability to play with others in co-op, where each of the players controls their own character.

A modern remake of the legendary dungeon crawler game, originally released in 1985. The game was the base for several better or worse productions and had multiple sequels for almost all platforms. The new Gauntlet was developed by Arrowhead, known for the Magicka series. Mechanics-wise, the game is a classic top-down arcade production with role-playing elements. You play as heroes traversing expansive dungeons, which are inhabited by monsters and ghosts. You can choose one of the four character classes: Warrior, Valkyrie, Elf, and Wizard, each of them having their unique combat system and special abilities. The game focuses heavily on the co-op system, which can involve up to 4 players playing via Internet or local network. Gauntlet features modern visuals based on the the original game.

In order to achieve the best score, the player can evolve SpongeBob into his more powerful version or utilize a number of vehicles (e.g. Patrick’s burger car). Unlike most so-called endless runner games, the procedurally generated levels have an end – it is represented by a portal, which takes the player to another land, where they can continue the game. A game combining adventure, logic and arcade elements, created specifically for PlayStation VR goggles. Wayward Sky was developed by Uber Entertainment - the creators of Monday Night Combat or Planetary Annihilation. The player assumes the role of a young female pilot called Bess, who, along with her father, crashes in a mysterious fortress protruding from the clouds. The old man is taken prisoner by the hostile robots and the player's goal is to save him, getting past various obstacles that happen to get in the protagonist's way. Generally, Wayward Sky is a point-and-click adventure game which focuses primarily on solving puzzles. Contrary to the classics of the genre however, puzzles here not always require only thinking - arcade elements appear for instance when the player has to control an awkwardly-moving robot in order to press certain buttons which cannot be reached by the protagonist. Wayward Sky stands out with its fairy-tale-like visuals contributing to the games atmosphere.

This arcade, endless-runner game brings a continuation to the long-standing, iconic Pac-Man series. Pac-Man 256 is a free-to-play title with microtransactions. The game was created by Hipster Whale - an external developer standing behind production of the popular game Crossy Road, based on similar mechanics. In Pac-Man 256, the player takes control of the titular creature running from a deadly glitch, which appeared first in the original Pac-Man game that came out back in 1980 (in the original game, the glitch attacked Pac-Man once the player had reached level 256). When exploring the endless maze, the protagonist eats yellow dots, not only avoiding the glitch chasing him, but also running from colorful ghosts the fans of the franchise are definitely familiar with. The player's goal here is to score as many points as possible before dying. Similar to Hipster Whale's previous game, Pac-Man 256 features a massive number of bonuses to be unlocked. The game is played from isometric view, following the pattern of the original Pac-Man, which was released 35 years earlier.

Developed by SouthEnd Interactive studio, the side-scrolling instalment of the popular Sacred series, created in the form of a simple, walking brawler in fantasy reality. The game takes place in the familiar land of Ancaria, which fell victim to an attack by the evil Ashen Empire. When the Seraphim who protect the land are defeated, the duty of defending the kingdom falls on the shoulders of the player, who takes control over the hero belonging to one of three different character classes.
