An adventure game with strong action and platform game traits. It was developed by Double Fine Productions. The player assumes the role of a boy named Razputin, Raz in short. His dream is to become a member of the titular Psychonauts, a squad that is maintaining peace in the world. After sneaking up into one of the training camps, the protagonist discovers that the cadets are mysteriously disappearing. Raz, accompanied by his loyal friends, tries to discover this mystery. In Psychonauts the action is presented by using a third-person perspective. The game features more than a dozen of varied levels – most of them take place inside the human minds. During the game Raz must face various enemies, solve some more or less complicated traps, and avoid many dangers. Luckily, the boy is able to jump, swim, climb and sneak. He also has access to a set of paranormal skills, including telekinesis, levitation and invisibility. The game features nice looking graphics. Similarly to previous games of this developer, the title is filled with humor.

An expanded version of a popular indie game that has been released in 2011 by Team Meat studio. Nicalis studio, a bit more experienced team, has been involved in refreshing of the title, in cooperation with original developers. When it comes to mechanics, the gameplay hasn’t changed much, offering randomly-generated levels, traversed by the titular Isaac, who solves simple puzzles and eliminates monsters or much more powerful bosses. The main difference between the Flash-based original, is a completely new graphic engine, introducing new, improved visuals and a number of innovations that, as a result of technological limitations, hadn’t made their way into the original. The developers included the whole base game and its two DLCs, and introduced a number of novelties. A local co-op mode has been incorporated in the game, allowing two players to take part in a joint playthrough on one screen.

The players assume control of Kao, a kangaroo that has been kidnapped and taken far away from his homeland. Fortunately, he manages to find a pair of boxing gloves which he uses to free himself from captivity and embarks on a dangerous and adventure-ridden way back home. We are given fifty varied levels filled with numerous obstacles and collectibles, while some of the areas contain means of transportation that can be used to expedite our journey. From time to time, we are left to face a powerful boss that has to be defeated in a boxing match.

A fast-paced platformer from Game Freak studio, in which the players control the titular war elephant, a nod to John Rambo, and must protect Free Shell city from the mysterious organization known as Phantom, led by a masked villain. Tembo the Badass Elephant offers seventeen different stages, with a few puzzles to solve and many more enemies to eliminate. Those include more powerful foes we meet from time to time that require coming up with appropriate tactic. Our hero can use many moves, using his tusks and momentum or special skills, like rolling, that lays waste to anything in his away. Two-dimensional visuals use good-looking, cartoonish style.
