AC Mirage, Assassin's Creed: Rift
A side installment of the series, focusing heavily on stealth action. Assassin's Creed: Rift is a much smaller game than Origins, Odyssey or Valhalla, returning, as it were, to the roots of Ubisoft's series.

Assassin's Creed: Rift is the next game in the series featuring hooded assassins, launched by Ubisoft in 2007. The scale of production is much smaller than that of the three previous installments in the series, namely AC: Origins, AC: Odyssey and AC: Valhalla. The size of the area resembles a single region from any of those games. Because of this, AC: Rift is referred to as a side part of the series. This allowed the developers to move away from the RPG genre, towards which it turned in 2017, and return to its roots, as it were.
As a result, Assassin's Creed: Rift is a game more focused on stealth action than direct combat. It uses the Assassin's hidden blade more often than traditional weapons. There is also an extensive parkour mechanic - which we use while exploring the environment - as well as a rich story background, inspired by historical realities.
The action of Assassin's Creed: Rift is set in Baghdad, and Basim Ibn Ishaq, known from Valhalla, who hails from this region of the world, was chosen as the main character. Going through the story campaign, we learn about his fate from before the events shown in the Nordic installment of the series.
It is interesting to note that Assassin's Creed: Rift was initially planned as one of the many "big" DLCs for AC: Valhalla. Ultimately, however, Ubisoft decided that it would be a standalone game.
