This, in turn, allows us to gain useful bonuses and gives us access to specific units (missionaries, inquisitors) or buildings (cathedrals, mosques).

The player has the opportunity to test their skills in operating tractors and other agricultural vehicles from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The creators took care of faithful representation of machines produced by John Deere, Lanz Bulldog, Fiat Trattori and Massey Ferguson, among others.

When it comes to mechanics, the gameplay isn’t at all different from what we could've seen in the other major entries of the series.

The game was developed by Acquire, a Japanese studio known from Way of the Samurai, Tenchu, and Shinobido. In Aegis of Earth: Protonovus Assault, the player takes control of his own city, and fights against continuous waves of huge monsters. The cities are composed of a few districts that can be rotated 360 degrees.
