During his adventure, the main protagonist visits different parts of the globe (such as Rome, Moscow, and Taipei), and the task he has been assigned requires him to make difficult decisions, resulting in measurable results later on.

It is the first large game developed by the Polish studio Jujubee known mostly for its futuristic racing series Flashout. The story of the game focuses on the mysterious disaster of the Russian submarine K-141 Kursk which sank during the summer of 2000 on the Barents Sea. It was never determined what caused the incident.
