A first-person shooter, the seventh installment in the Call of Duty series, and a start of a new sub-series. The game was developed by studio Treyarch, the team responsible for Call of Duty: World at War. The story campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops is presented in the form of flashbacks suffered by the main protagonist, Alex Mason. Having previously worked for the CIA as a field operative, in his memories Mason returns to the age of Cold War.

RPG 15 May 2012

Another attempt to recreate the universe of the popular HBO TV series (based on A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin) in the form of video game. This time it was created by the French studio Cyanide, known for sports games Chaos League and Blood Bowl. The result is a third-person RPG the plot of which is set in the world from the novels but tells a brand new story with fresh characters.

The third part in the first-person shooter series being one of the spin-offs of the Call of Duty franchise. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was developed by Infinity Ward with the assistance from other development studios owned by Activision – e.g. Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games. The plot continues the action of the first two installments of the game.

After the success achieved by the third installment in the Command & Conquer series, EA Los Angeles began to work on a sequel to the Red Alert subseries developed in parallel with the franchise's main installments. Again, the players are thrown into an alternative reality, where the leaders of the Soviet Union decided to travel back in time in order to make Russia great again.

A first-person shooter game created for the users of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. It is a spin-off of the popular Battlefield series. Battlefield: Bad Company is set in 2014 and the game's plot is centered around a fictional conflict between the United States and the Russian Federation. In the story campaign, the player assumes the role of Private Preston Marlowe, who gets assigned to "B" Company of the 222nd U.S Army battalion.

RPG 16 March 2010

An official expansion for the bestselling RPG game Dragon Age: Origins created by BioWare. The story of the expansion starts a few months after the events that occurred in the basic game. The protagonist is tasked with rebuilding the order of Grey Wardens which was decimated during the great Battle of Ostagar. What makes the quest harder is the fact that, despite the defeat of the powerful archdemon, the dark forces did not return underground and remain a threat for the whole Ferelden.

A continuation of a 2006's third-person shooter by Epic Games. You play as Marcus Fenix, a soldier sentenced for desertion, and face a hostile race called Locust. The action takes place six months after the events of the first installment. Even though the majority of aliens have been crushed, the remnants are still hiding in the underground tunnels while Rustlung – a mysterious, fatal disease – spreads among humans.

The third installment in the bestselling Halo series of FPS shooters, marking the series' debut on 7th generation consoles. In terms of the story, the title is a kind of crowning of the trilogy, telling the story of the human race's fight against the Covenant civilization in a futuristic world. The action of the game begins in the eastern part of the African continent, where our hero's ship crashes.

Sequel to the highly popular first-person shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior. The game has been produced by the Polish studio City Interactive (CI Games). Campaign of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 once again puts players in the role of a sharpshooter sent behind enemy lines with the task to eliminate selected targets. Missions are located e.g. in the jungle, Himalayas, or in the ruins of Sarajevo. The gameplay focuses on tactical approach.

The next installment in the series of sports games dedicated to the immensely popular discipline, which is basketball. The Visual Concepts studio is responsible for the series, developed by 2K Games initially only on consoles. In the game, we can manage one of the selected basketball teams, leading it to success in one of the wide range of single and multiplayer modes.

A science-fiction turn-based strategy game that came out as a reboot of the cult series, UFO: Enemy Unknown, launched back in 1994 by Microprose. This new title was created by Firaxis Games, a studio founded by Sid Meier. The story of XCOM: Enemy Unknown does not follow any of the plotlines started by its predecessors. Instead, it tells a new story of the war between humans and an aggressive alien race.

Racing 13 November 2007

The 11th installment in the popular racing game series developed by Electronic Arts. In contrast to the previous parts of the game, this title completely abandons the idea of illegal races and transfers the action to professional racing circuits. Players take part in a number of challenges divided into four race variations: Drag, Grip, Drift, and Speed Challenge, in the latter the driver who reaches top speed wins. Successive victories unlock new challenges and cars.

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is another arcade game from the series, named after a well-known American sportsman. The play system resembles two versions of Tony Hawk's Underground, and the action is located only in Los Angeles (presence of real locations like Hollywood etc.).

A sequel to the bestselling first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward in 2003. The action of the game once again takes place during the World War II, offering three campaigns spanning across 1941-45. During the game the player switches between an American paratrooper dropped in Western Europe, a British commando fighting in Northern Africa and France, and between a Russian infantryman deployed on the eastern front (including Stalingrad).

The production was developed by the experienced Dimps studio, which already has in its portfolio several parts of the game, released for both home and handheld consoles.

The story is set 40 years after the events in Black Ops II, in a world reigned by chaos, where climatic changes, diminishing natural resources, and ideological divisions in the society are the leading problems.

Strategy canceled

Set in fantasy reality strategy with action game and cRPG elements, being a spin-off of the Divinity series. The story of Divinity: Dragon Commander presents the fate of a young heir to the throne, who as a dragon knight fights for the survival of the kingdom of Rivellon after the death of his father. The game focuses on three elements: managing the country, giving strategic orders (such as moving subordinate troops on the map) and commanding during battles.

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic was created by then-unknown development team at Arcane Studios (who later became famous thanks to the Dishonored series) for Ubisoft, who bought the rights to the IP from its previous publisher, 3DO.

A science-fiction FPP shooter, known as the legendary „in-development” game from the 90s. Human Head Studios, a new developer, had taken over the project from the legendary 3D Realms. The main protagonist of Prey is Tommy, a Native American, who along with his girlfriend and granddad has been kidnapped by Aliens. After waking up on board of an alien spaceship, Tommy decides to takes matters into his own hands and destroy all aliens in his path.

The second installment in the series of FPS games developed by Polish studio, Techland. This game is actually a prequel to the original title. We play the part of two brothers: Thomas and Ray McCalls, of whom the latter is known from the first game. Much like in the original Call of Juarez, the two characters play very differently – they have individual skills and equipment.
