We can focus on playing alone or join forces with other players. It is up to us to retake areas overrun by monsters in order to establish new villages.

The new shogun decided to enforce peace in the entire country which requires him to silently eliminate all the opposition that may dream of rebelling against him. In terms of the plot, this game is a remake of the first installment, originally released in 2000. In the game you can select any of the 12 available historical nations, each having their own buildings, units, and technologies.

The new version was developed by Forgotten Empires, a studio that also created remastered editions of the first and second games in the series.
