The next boss that you will have to defeat is the Mad Donkey. He is a human with quite fast attacks. On this guide page for Lies of P, you will find useful tips on how to fight this dangerous opponent, where to find him, and what rewards you will receive for defeating him.
Where can I find Mad Donkey?
You will find the Mad Donkey not far from the stargazer called Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard. You will see the boss on the bridge with a hanging puppet.
Mad Donkey's first phase
The boss turns out to be a man in a donkey mask. This means that he is much faster than standard, puppet-like opponents. In this fight, you can rely on both dodging and blocking. His attacks are quite linear and slow, especially in the first phase. Fable Arts will also be useful.
When the Mad Donkey holds his weapon with both hands, he will very often do slow swings. You can do perfect blocks to destroy his weapon, but a better way will be to avoid attacks to get behind him. If you are close to him, you can use a fatal attack that will deal a lot of damage.
However, if you prefer blocking attacks, this will also be a good way to defeat the enemy. He usually attacks with one or two strikes. After blocking each of them, you can perform one strike, as long as your weapon is fast, and then block the boss's next attack.
His most dangerous attack is quickly swinging his weapon in all directions. He glows red during this move. If you think you won't be able to perfectly block this attack, use sprint to quickly fall back and wait for him to finish attacking. However, if you feel confident, it is worth taking the risk and blocking the attack. There is a high chance that the Mad Donkey's weapon will break and deal less damage. In addition, his attacks will lose range.
Mad Donkey's second phase
When the boss's health drops below 50%, you will hear the boss talking to you. Generally, the fight with the Mad Donkey won't change much from this moment on, although his attacks will become faster. He will often attack with a series of three strikes. Moreover, the boss will be able to shorten the distance with even bigger fury.
Wait for his attacks and block or dodge them, getting behind him. Next, perform a fatal attack from the back to quickly end the fight. If you have offensive Fable Arts, don't forget to use them during combat. In many cases, they will throw the boss off balance, allowing you to briefly take the initiative in battle.
For defeating the Mad Donkey, you will receive 1278 Ergo, Enigma Assembly Tool, Mad Donkey's Hunting Apparel, Mad Donkey's Mask, Krat City Hall Key, and a Hidden Moonstone. Moreover, the number of pulse cell uses will be increased by 1.
