Wrath of the Druids DLC Release Date

Ubisoft has finally revealed the release date for the first major expansion for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Wrath of the Druids, which will take us to 9th-century Ireland.

End of speculations. Ubisoft revealed the release date of first of the two planned major expansions for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Wrath of the Druids will be released on April 29 on PC, PS4, PS5, XONE and XSX|S. The next one, The Siege of Paris, is scheduled for the second half of the year.

The biggest attraction of Wrath of the Druids is supposed to be Ireland - a new area, where as Eivor we will set off on the trail of the ancient cult of the Children of Danu. In order to find its members, the protagonist will have to deal with the local rulers, while immersing themselves in the world of Celtic myths and local folklore. The expansion will be available to purchase separately or as part of the Season Pass, also included in AC: Valhalla Gold and Ultimate Editions.

Even before the release of the new expansion Ubisoft decided to organize an Easter event in their game. Ostara Festival launched a few hours ago. The players can undertake three new questlines, related to the Easter egg hunt, fighting the night spirits, and playing the May queen ("It's just a spring clean for the May queen..."). We learned about the event on Monday, with update 1.2.0, which introduced transmog to the game, but the players didn't like it. AC: Valhalla is also set to receive a new game mode in the near future - Mastery Challenge - which promises to be a replayable, combat-focused challenge in the style of the River Raids introduced some time ago.
