Are there any Missable Trophies in Octopath Traveler 2?

Completionists and collectors alike will be relieved to find out that none of the achievements in Octopath Traveler 2 are missable. That means, you don’t have to worry about locking yourself out of obtaining any trophies by progressing too far. No matter at what point of the gameplay you are, you can go back and complete your collection. However, some achievements may be easier to get than others.

Rare achievements in Octopath Traveler 2

Octopath Traveler 2 features some hidden achievements that have no instructions on how to get them. As a result, significantly less players complete them. Here are some of them:

  1. Octopath Traveler...?

This achievement requires you to bring along four NPCs on your journey at once.

  1. Gate to the Netherworld

This trophy is awarded for beating the secret boss Galdera in the late game. It’s a lengthy process which requires finding and unlocking the Gate to the Netherworld. You can only do so by completing the side quests: The Traveler’s Bag, Procuring Peculiar Tomes and Far Reaches of Hell. Your party members have to to be at level 35 or above.   1. Record Collector

Unlocks after obtaining all of Gramophone tracks. To do so, the player must unlock Gramophones at 30 different locations in the game through quests, Path Actions or trading.

  1. 100 Out Cold

This achievement requires using the Path Actions to Soothe or Knock Out 100 NPCs. The best character to get this trophy with is Thorne, as his Ambush Path Action is not limited by items and doesn’t require fighting.

  1. Worth the Detour

This trophy will take some time to obtain as it requires completing all side stories in the game. It’s worth the effort as you will need it to get the very last achievement – A Story All Your Own, for unlocking all available trophies.
