In the ongoing delay season, there is auspicious news for players every now and then. Last Friday, we wrote about A Plague Tale: Requiem having gone gold (release on October 18). Today, however, TaleWorlds confirmed that Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will also not suffer a delay.

Version 1.0 of the game - currently sold only in early access on PC - is expected to be released on October 25. According to what we wrote in June - based on information obtained by XboxAchievements.com, as the developer only announced it publicly now - the title will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, XONE and XSX/S.

The game will be available in boxed and digital versions. Pre-orders on the PS Store and MS Store are expected to start later today. Owners of the PC edition will, of course, receive a free update to version 1.0. Moreover, the developers assure that they will further develop the game through patches.

Today's announcement was topped with a a fresh trailer for Bannerlord. It doesn't reveal anything new, but is quite impressive in its own right. You can watch it above.
