With the rise of a new cheater apps, consoles are no longer a safe place to play CoD: Warzone. That said, Activision is not giving up just yet.
IN A NUTSHELL:
We've known about Call of Duty: Warzone having trouble with cheaters for a while now. Activision, the game's publisher, has already banned over 500,000 accounts. For now, the problem mainly concerned people who wanted to play on PC. Unfortunately, recently also console players are no longer safe. Activision, however, has taken the first steps to remedy this.
We wrote about a new program that enables the use of cheats on consoles - details here. And since we found out about it, it couldn't have escaped Activision's representatives. Twitter user with a rather meaningful nickname Anti-Cheat Police Department shared a post yesterday, which reads:
It seems that the fight against cheaters on consoles has begun. Let's hope that in the near future Activision will react more firmly, because the cheaters are becoming more and more insolent.
