Fans can't get over the casting of a family from the Harry Potter TV series from HBO Max.
As work began on the set of the Harry Potter TV series, the first official photographs of the actors in costume began to be released, so we could already see what Harry and Hagrid will look like in the HBO Max production.
But that's not the only thing that's been causing a lot of excitement among HP fans lately, because along with the showing of Dominic McLaughlin in costume, more new cast members were also revealed. This time it was announced who will play Dudley Dursley, and it will be Amos Kitson. Fans of the young wizard's adventures immediately agreed that Kitson “definitely looks like Dudley.” In addition, in their opinion, he is a perfect fit for the son of the Dursleys from TV show, who will be played by Bel Powley and Daniel Rigby.
According to fans of the series with the casting of the Dursleys, the creators of the Harry Potter TV series were “on point,” because not only will they come off convincingly as a family, but most importantly they match how the books described the characters – it was especially appreciated that, unlike in the movies, this time an effort was made to pick actors in the right age.
The casting director really deserves a raise with the Dursleys, this is insane – lautaromassimino.
He definitely looks like a Dudley – CodCheap9332.
Good casting with the adult Dursleys too, he looks like he could be their kid – QueenSlartibartfast.
They really look a real family! I guess thats why they took a while to cast Dudley, they wanted a kid that look like Petunia and Vernon – minuetblue.
So the Dursleys have been met with a positive reception, and the concerns that have also been raised about whether the actors look too good for these characters will perhaps be allayed when we see them in costume. These so far haven’t disappointed fans, who are pleased with how Harry and Hagrid look in the TV series.
