Control Launches - New Game by Creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake

Control, the latest production by Remedy, known for Max Payne and Alan Wake series, debuted on the market. There is also an interesting video on the web, showing how the PC version with ray tracing looks like.

Control has begun conquering market.

We have finally seen the launch of Control, the latest action game from Remedy. The production has already debuted on Xbox One, and the PC and PlayStation 4 releases will be unlocked in a few hours.

For the PC edition, Control is only available from Epic Games Store. According to the agreement, the exclusivity will last for a year. After this period, the game will most likely hit Steam.

The PC version of Control uses ray tracing. Candyland published an interesting video showing how the game with this option looks like compared to the version without it. The material also shows how it affects performance.

Numerous reviews of Control have already appeared in the web. According to Metacritic, the PC version has an average rating of 85%. The PlayStation 4 version score 81% and the Xbox One release got84%.

Control is praised for its great combat system, interesting exploration and well-designed boss battles. Another advantage is the length of the campaign, whose main storyline lasts for several hours, and the same amount can be squeezed out of the game by completing side tasks.

Criticism mainly relates to weak dialogues and little variety of locations. In addition, there are some optimization problems with console versions.
