Google Stadia is about to sink, but users of the service can save their progress in Cyberpunk 2077 and continue playing on PC and consoles.
Death of the "traditional gaming slayer", also known as Google Stadia, has not pleased the gamers, who have lost many hours in the titles available on this service. Fortunately some publishers are willing to let them escape the platform with all their virtual possessions.
CD Projekt RED has also shown itself, informing players of the possibility of transferring progress in Cyberpunk 2077 from Google Stadia to PC and consoles. Details were discussed in a thread on the official support website of the Polish developer.
The Google Takeout data transfer tool should be used for the transfer. You can find it at this address.
The save files can also be transferred to Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles - provided you have a PC copy of Cyberpunk 2077. Here all you need to do is enable the cross-platform feature.
After following the above steps, the save files should be available on consoles after logging into the same GOG account.
